I agree. It's pointless to make predictions like that when the season hasn't even started yet. There will be new players playing for both teams, some of which have never had varsity experience so there's really no way to make guesses at this point.

What is Piketons Overall Record vs Waverly now?
isnt it something like 2-22 ,1-22?

Piketon wouldn't play Waverly in 06-07 or 07-08 but would play Waverly in 08-09 because they thought we would be down which was right but Waverly still won the past 2 years.

I would be more concerned about what your coaches think then the public because they are the people that you have to answer to. Not random posters on a local sports forum.

Is the Piketon/Waverly game on a Saturday again? I went to the game last year at Waverly they had with the Cornhole tourney, the canned food drive, the cookout, and ultimately the football game. It was a really good time, even though the people I talked to were suprised by the fact I drove down from Circleville to watch a game in Waverly.

Hey - its ok for the young man from piketon to get on here and talk a little smack that is what kids do sometime- however, I am amazed that the Waverly fans dont seem to get to pumped up about this game like they used too. No I dont mean get on here and talk smack or go down to the great pike county fair and brag about beating piketon last year but what i am talking about is showing some excitement about playing Piketon like they do in basketball- that game is always a thrilling game and the build-up is incredible- and the funny thing about the basketball rivaly is the games tend to live up to the build-up. Does anyone know how much longer the football game is on the schedule? I know the players get excited and look foward to the game, but could this game be loosing some of its luster?

The hype and excitement was there two years ago when the series was renewed but after the high scoring thrilling upset by Waverly at Piketon it seemed like some of that excitement disappeared last year. I liked the "community" get together with all the activities and food drive but as for the game itself it just seemed like the excitement wasn't there for some reason. Maybe we're just getting old, bucki4life.

Why do I always hear that Piketon people are dumb and have no education? You have some kids who are running their mouth over the internet who aren't smart in the first place. But why does that make Piketon as a whole, uneducated? There are kids that go to this school and every school that don't even play sports because they are so academicly ambitious.
