It sure looks like Oak Hill has gotten back to there old form, 1 or 2 wins a season. It is no wonder the old coach left he knew he had his lumps coming. The ole worm has turned on the Oaks.

I was born and raised in Oak Hill, but have spent all of my adult life in Jackson. I love the Mighty Oaks, but I think Wellston will win this one.

One or two wins? Here's how the past decade has went for Oak Hill
2010:11-2
2009:11-1
2008:7-3
2007:5-5
2006:3-7
2005:0-10
2004:3-7
2003:4-6
2002:3-7
2001:6-4
2000:6-4
Total wins:56
Total loses:56
Right there, on average, is 5-5 every year for the past decade. Only one season do I see 0 wins, 2 seasons with three and one with 4 wins. Before you start rambling on about one and two win seasons for the past decade, you NEED to get your facts straight. Until then, work at the Ski Factory. Oh, wait, that's right, Wellston doesn't even have a Ski faactory anymore.

Could be a closer game than some think. IMO Wellston will have to be able throw the ball some to pull away.....and if you don't pull away, anything can happen. Good Luck to both.

Sorry to say but the Oaks match their 2005 season. They will not win a game this year. Hard to believe that you can go from the success you had last season to the results of this years team.

Downtown hold your fire, Eyelander is not from Wellston. You are right Oak Hill deserves respect and I am sure Coach Hutchinson and the Rockets are not taking the Oaks lightly. If you notice Wellston posters are not trash talkers.

I don't believe there were any 1 or 2 wins seasons under Conroy, Bart or Triplett either.

I just hate that individuals get on Oak Hill about their program. They have always been successful, they just haven't made the playoffs. And, with their size, enrollment wise, they're a tweener school. Too big to be in a small division, too small to be in a big division.

The Oaks are much improved from Week 1, even though the scoreboard hasn't shown it. Wellston is a good team and Jaylen Prater is an awesome football player. If the Oaks can stop Prater and somehow cut down on turnovers, we may have a shot. Both teams will be hungry for a victory. Should be a good game.

Oaks have talent back from last year's team. Still working on finding their identity. Like to see more of a short passing game out of the back field and to the tight end. #21 seems to compliment the running game when he gets touches.

Wellston Wins If they move prater out of the pocket, let him make the decision to run or throw, this will open up the inside. Wellston's defense wins this game. 21- 6
