So, could someone post Alexander's schedule on here? And how do you guys think they'll do this year?

A lot of people are looking for great things from Alexander this sason. Running back should be the main thing. Wasn't Athens the only one they lost to in the league last year?

Lost to athens and meigs. if alexander wouldve beaten meigs, there wouldve been a threeway tie for first in the tvc.

Unioto and Wellston might be the only roadblocks to starting 7-0 and that depends on what those two can actually put on the field. The talk is there but.....

i dont know if unioto will be a roadblock unless theyve really toughened up since last year.

3 maybe 4 losses on there but you never know, thats why we play em on the field and not on paper.

& they have, no excuse for the WHOOPING they took last year. But Unioto came out of week two last year with 6 starters injuried. They have a new head coach and new defensive coordinater and it looks to be a promising year. We'll see week three I guess.

Does Unioto have Qb Detillion (sp) coming back this year or was he a senior last year?

I will be absolutely stunned if Alex wins either of those games. The spartans lost alot from last years team, and have alot of spots to fill. However, stranger things have happened and they just might surprise us and win both games. NOT! LOL!

The Times-Journal reports that Alexander will be at Oak Hill on Tuesday, July 20th, 4:00 for a two team 7 on 7.

Eastern and Frontier will give them a game, and either one of those teams may just end up beating the Spartans. The rest of the non-league schedule is a downgrade. So yes, that was sarcasm that you correctly detected.....

I actually really liked the prospect of Alexanders football team this season.. But there schedule is really disapointing! :122247 After a very promising season, one of the best in school history, beating Nelsonville and going to the playoffs and they play the likes of Unioto, River Valley, Frontier, and Huntington and no Trimble or Federal Hocking!! Come on, u drop two Athens County rivals and big gates for 4 traditionally bad programs?? Come on Spartans!! You guys are gaining alot of respect in the area and I hear nothing but great things about Coach Arno and what he is getting out of his players!! But this is down right embarrasing!

The only thing that I can tell you is that Alexander had to scramble, to some degree, to restack their schedule after the 11th hour shuffle in the TVC Hocking, going from six to eight league games basically during the 2010 basketball season.

Fed had to drop Alex to get the eight league games in for the Hocking division, which sent Alex scrambling. I'm guessing that is where they picked up Frontier, or RV.

Don't discount Frontier. They may just surprise the Spartans. Cougars play in a much, much tougher league than the TVC, regardless of division. ;-)
