Week 2: Westfall (0-1) @ Logan Elm (0-1)

Post by LoganElm_grad09 »

Westfall lost to Teays Valley 48-27 due to a huge Viking run in the 2nd half, Logan Elm dropped a close one to Washington Court House. What do you think?

Westfall just won in OT - something like 22-21. Logan Elm's extra point kick was blocked, ending it.

WF is just getting better every week by the time league rolls around no one will touch them

Trent U did a great job tonight a little off on a couple passes but all in all great job

Very wild game tonight. Both crowds were really into it in the 4th quarter (you'd think playoffs were there) and overall a great atmosphere until the end. I could complain on how the kid who blocked the kick looked like he got a head start on the snap, but it would be an invalid point because we had some problems that we need to work on. Injuries also hurt us.

Congrats on the win Westfall and good luck to you the rest of the season.

Now is one of the most crucial points of the season; 0-2 and facing the defending SVC champion Zane Trace (who lost to Amanda 24-17). Stay positive, learn from tonights' experience, move foreward and grow as a team. Go Braves!

I will say that WF's county slate probably prepares them for the SVC much better than just about anybody's non-conference schedule in the league. Playing 2 D-3 teams and a growing D-2 team helps out when playing D-5 and D-4 teams the rest of the season.

I agree Le grad on several points...... the boys all said today after watching the films Luke was off sides on that block.
During the game there is one from LE I dont remember his # but whennever you guys kicked off toward the scoreboard he was to the left of the kicker he was always 2 steps ahead of the kicker 2 times was really obvious, and there were a couple times he was offsides before the snap that was obvious that didn't get called. I am sure Bart saw it on the film and will work on correcting it, just something to watch for that could really hurt you guys in the future.

I always love the LE game, fans are awesome on both sides and as always it was a great game.

WF still has a few things to work on and I am sure by the time League rolls around they will be ready to win it.

Good luck LE
