NW lost...doesnt suprise me much...Bob Ashley had his young men ready to play tonight! It's simple you stop the Brown kid and keep Crabtree from catching the jump ball........you beat NW.

Well done this evening young Titans! Defense was ready to play and the offense moved the ball real well! Congrats to the Notre Dame Titan Coaching staff and players on executing a well prepared game plan (gotta fix the penalty problem though)!

Best of luck next week Mohawks. Hope you find your way to a .500 season, will help our chances at playing in week #11.

Northwest the biggest school in county. Has won the only two games it will win. If you read the Daily Times thursday you thought they were the best team in the SOC.

It is a "Tale of two Schools". One is a "football school", one is not a "football school". Although Northwest is the biggest school in the county and undoubtedly the overall talent pool is deeper than at Notre Dame, the smallest school in the county flat out "put it on" the Mohawks last night. Here's the difference: Go to the Mohawks practice Monday and you will not know they were soundly beaten Saturday night. Go to a Notre Dame practice Monday and you will not know they won convincingly (There will be some extra conditioning and some serious butt chewing going on because of 100 yards worth of penalties). Luke Brown is a great athlete, Kenny Crabtree is a great athlete, but great athletes do not win football games, solid coaching staffs and solid football players win football games. That's what happened last night, that was the difference in this football game. I feel for the kids at Northwest, they are a good group of young men and nobody likes getting beat eight or nine times a year. mrs robinson is right I'm afraid, the "two game winning streak" is the only "W's" the Mohawks will see this year. I hope they can finish the season without any serious injuries.
