The Lancers finally came out and played like they wanted to win a game. They were running and hitting hard. While I am not saying that they are finally getting it, they appear to be moving in the right direction. In a season like this, you just look for improvement from week to week. The last two weeks, they have shown some improvement. I believe next week they get 3 starters back that have been ineligible for the first half of the season. If those players come in and gel with the players that have been starting, we could keep seeing more improvement each week.

Wow, I am shocked that Belpre has yet to win a TVC Hocking game. I never in a million years would have expected that, even if Belpre was 0-10 last year in the Ohio.

Didn't Fed have players that were ineligible for the first half of last season as well?

Multiple players this year, multiple players last year, multiple players in 08, 07 a couple, in 06, only one that I can recall, 05 a couple. So yes, it is a chronic problem, and there really is no reason for it. I'll leave it at that.

I'm not shocked, Athens played both of these teams last season and I think Fed was probibly better than Belpre overall last season as well. What I'm shocked about is that Belpre has fallen so hard so fast in the last handfull of seasons and there doesn't seem to be any progress being made on the field either in quality of play or in numbers on the sidelines for the Eagles.
