The only way this one stays close is if Scotty Dale Wolfe and the Farmer Yoder crew are doing the game. Otherwise, Wahama rolls on their way to the Hocking crown.

Wahama has a real nice team. They've got a nice passing game to go with their running.Strange things can happen when that ball is kicked, thrown, and punted around. But I really don't see Wahama having any problem with this game.Another NICE NIGHT FOR HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL!!!

Yowsa! That is not the spread I expected. Box up the trophy and send it to Mason. Congrats to the White Falcons on a nice win. The rest of your schedule, well, won't be much of a challenge. Hopefully, it will not hurt you when playoffs come around.

So much for all those experts who make the blanket statement about Ohio football being better than West Virginia football.

Ohio football is ten times better than WV, just look at the difference inthe recruits that come out of the two states. You really can't base Ohio football off the TVC Hocking unless you are really dumb.

Ohio football is better than West Virginia football. Anybody that thinks any different needs to rethink what they know about football. It just happens that Wahama is the best team in the TVC Hocking this year. I'm sure that the state champs from WV couldn't stay in the game with the state champs from Ohio. Have you ever watched a team like Cincinnati X (only one example) on ESPN? They look like a college team. It has nothing to do with WV, so don't take it personal. It has everything to do with the talent pool that Ohio has to draw from compared to WV. The population of the two states isn't even close.

Ohio's Population = 11,542,645; West Virginia's Population = less than 2 million. No one is dumb enough to base Ohio Football on the TVC. However, bragging about how many more recruits come out of Ohio than WV is just rediculous. Of course they'll have more, but its not because the "gods" have chosen Ohio to be the pinnacle of high school football. Its only because there's a larger pool of kids which increases the number of recruits that will come from that state. I'm sure that if WV had 11.5 million people, there would be just as many good recruits going to play for D1 Colleges or Universities.

Parkersburg South has lost to two Ohio teams that are much smaller than they are so I would say that says something about this debate.

As for this thread, OUCH! is all I can say for Southern. Looks like no playoffs again this year.

I wasn't bragging about how many recruits come out of Ohio, only stating a fact. As far as using the numbers card, how can you brag about Wahama with close to 50 players beating Southern with about 15 players. What ever makes you look good I guess?
