Plain City Jonathon Alder (4-1) @ Ironton (5-0)
WOW IT JUSTS KEEPS GETTING BIGGER EVERY WEEK. PLAYOFF TEAM, AFTER PLAYOFF TEAM.
Re: WEEK 6 BIGTIME SHOWDOWN PLAIN CITY JONATHON ALDER @ IRON
Don't know anything about them except they beat two Division I teams to start the season. They have to be pretty good.
Re: WEEK 6 BIGTIME SHOWDOWN PLAIN CITY JONATHON ALDER @ IRON
Ironton has played a "play-off" schedule all year. This is a tough schedule but My TIGERS have really been impressive.
Ironton will show up for every game and if they keep playing the way they have, they will be just fine.
GO TIGERS GO!!!!!

The Pioneers beat up on London (2-2) 56-12 tonight. Coming into week 5, they were ranked 5th in D4R16, and London was #7. I've got ties in Plain City, but hoping for a Tiger victory.

I certainly anticipate an Ironton W, YTB. I think this years Tiger's team is the incarnation of the '89/'99 teams. Just a year off for the trifecta.

i'm thinking the same thing. they are flat laying waste to teams now, and seem very focused. this will be a huge measuring stick next week. and i'm liking this forward pass thingie we got going.

Alder, according to Ironton Football Dot Com has 11 playoff appearances. The last 4 years, they were out the first round of the playoffs.
Re: WEEK 6 BIGTIME SHOWDOWN PLAIN CITY JONATHON ALDER @ IRON
Ironton has been playing a playoff schedule all season..they have improved drastically the past two games..something I havent seen for some time...this team is really focussed and disciplined..
Re: WEEK 6 BIGTIME SHOWDOWN PLAIN CITY JONATHON ALDER @ IRON
Alder lost Cinton-Massie by a point. Many, including the puddle, have them ranked at #2 in DIV right behind Archbishop Alter.

Ironton will definitely have it's hands full and then some. Alder is very good. This game is a great "midterm" for the tigers.
The line play has improved and has dominated the past 2 games. This is still where irontons success will hinge the rest of the season. Also the maturation of Waginger as a qb is very evident and his confidence is growing each game I see. Night and day difference from the first couple games. His continual development is crucial for an deep ironton playoff run.

THE FIGHTING TIGERS HAVE ALLOWED 4 TOUCHDOWNS ALL YEAR , 2 IN THE RUSSELL GAME ALONE. THEIR DEFENSE IS STUFFING PEOPLE. AND THE OFFENSE IS THROWING UP THE POINTS TO BACK THEM AS WELL. THIS IS A SPECIAL TIGER TEAM, I THINK ONN SHOULD COVER THIS AS A GAME OF THE WEEK. I SAW AD5 GAME THE OTHER NIGHT, CUYAHOGA HEIGHTS AND KIRTLAND, AND IT WAS AN AWESOME GAME.
