I'm very interested in the outcome of this game. I'm not really sure what to expect though...could go either way, in my opinion.

Gallia Academy has been impressive early in the season, and I really don't think the Ironton loss should be viewed as a negative when looking at their overall resume. Yes, they lost convincingly, but Ironton is a VERY good football team, in my opinion. The Blue Devils probably won't be that shaken mentally after losing to such a good team, but playing Ironton certainly takes a physical toll on a team. If Gallia Academy is relatively healthy and not too bruised up after Ironton, then they'll have a good chance against the Chiefs. That said, Logan will now have some confidence after beating Marietta and they will be playing at home. The Chiefs realize that the SEOAL title race is far from over, but their backs are against the wall the rest of the season since loss #2 in the league would probably knock them out of the title race for sure. Both teams know what is on the line, and this is a big rivalry game even without the extra incentives.

Should be a good one at Logan Chieftain Stadium.

GAHS played a poor first half against Marietta and got away with it.
GAHS played a poor first half against Ironton and got destroyed.
I think they need to play well in the first half to beat Logan.

Predictions coming later, but I'd look for a close game in this match-up. Both team records are very misleading. Personnel should not be outclassed by the other team either way. I'd also look for a big crowd.

Logan should play much better ball as the season goes on and the players gain confidence, experience and a feel for what teamates will do on a particular play. Chemistry develops on the field as well as in the locker room. Logan started with such a void of playing experience this season that it seems it took a long time to get comfortable on the field, let alone make plays. Not only were the individual players inexperienced, they weren't used to playing next on another.

last weeks defense looked alot better! quicker reacting to the ball, gang tackling and not alot of arm tackling, just good ole fashion hit and wrapping. but, on the other side of ball. etta doesn't have speed like we've seen in the non-league games.
