Again, anything could happen. If West's team gets the mumps then Waverly wins by 6.
Re: SOC2: West (5-0) @ Waverly (0-5)
Seriously you're going to bring that up again. It was our JV's and freshmen that was going for 2. Why don't you find a different dead horse to beat.MuletownManiac wrote:West was still going for 2 when they were up 60-0 on RH, cmon now this isnt OSU vs Michigan

Maybe you should mention how OakHill only had one offensive threat to worry about and he still hit you for over 100yds. This is 2010 you should stop living in the past.Badboy wrote:Crab's brother wrote:The paper said Trevon scored his 3rd TD with about 4 minutes to go last week against Chesapeake. REAL CLASSY WEST. GEE WHIZ! CAN SOMEONE FROM THE WORST SIDE AT LEAST ACT LIKE THEY HAVE WON A GAME BEFORE? WHAT PITIFUL LEADERSHIP TO KEEP RUNNING YOUR HORSE WITH 4 MINUTES TO PLAY. AND TO RISK GETTING HIM HURT BEFORE THE BIG GAMES WHEN THE GAME IS AT HAND?
WOW.
JUST LIKE LAST YEAR WEST AVERAGING 1000 YDS A GAME....THEN MINFORD CAME TO TOWN.......LESS THAN 60 YARDS LATER FROM THE RB.......GAME OVER!

full of? That's right sh** and that's what you losers are starting. West's freshmen did go for 2....after the FRESHMEN scored!!!! The 9th
graders don't have a PAT kicker.
P.S. even if it was OSU and that team from up North, Tressell would not have went for 2. So I don't know what the heck that meant.
DIDO, did they have to run a play action pass play???? Dont act like it was because the didnt have any other choice....when Daniels and Co. scored on a breakaway run vs Meigs with his JV and Freshman in, he took a knee. Just another classless act by the Worst Side. Dont worry its coming!! Better "pad those stats" this week, cause you still gotta play Burg, Valley, and those Dirty Birds playin in the pasture! :122246 :122246 :122246

Buddy I don't know what the hell you are talking about. My location has nothing to do with this argument. Someone asked when the Siders' first team played 4 quarters. I just repeated what I saw in the PDT. You need to learn to read what is being said before busting off the handle and calling people out.
This is a copy and paste from the PDT online edition.....
West 7 14 6 7 — 34
Chesapeake 6 0 0 0 — 6
SCORING SUMMARY
C — West 61 run (pass failed) 5:53
W — Locher 52 run (Auger kick) 5:40
Second Quarter
W — Pendleton 4 run (Auger kick) 11:56
W — Locher 33 from Ratliff (Auger kick)
7:27
Third Quarter
W — Ratliff 1 run (kick failed) 1:41
Fourth Quarter
W — Pendleton 52 run (Auger kick) 4:36
I never said anything about West running anything up on anyone. I was just showing that West's starters did play what amounts to 4 quarters the other night at Chesapeake.
Re: SOC2: West (5-0) @ Waverly (0-5)
No you weren't saying anything about running up the score, you were just making a vaild point...anyway, yes West played almost four quarters (starters went out with almost 5 to go) because they played sloppy, uninspired football...they just didn't look very good and Pendleton broke a big run up the middle and he scored, he wasn't running up the score.Crab's brother wrote:DIDO wrote:I looked at the location of crabs brother (under Dwights desk and I wonder why) and Muletown's is pasture of pain.......well what is a pasture

And about the whole Rock Hill thing, Triplett was not running up the score, they went for two to avoid the mess of getting a jv/freshmen kick team together...to say that he is classless is very unfair and uncalled for, anyone that knows him will tell you different I guarentee itBadboy wrote:Crab's brother wrote:The paper said Trevon scored his 3rd TD with about 4 minutes to go last week against Chesapeake. Good for them, I remember when they punched one in on us with about 7 seconds to go in 2007 when they were already winning 21-7, not making any attack on any coach on that staff, I just call them like I see them...besides its football if a team runs a play its the opposing teams job to stop, regardless of what the score is or was...in 07 we should of stopped of Minford from scoring, just like Rock hill should have stopped our Jv from scoring, besides its just Jv how can you call getting your Jv who btw only play 4-6 times a year some varsity success and experience when the opportunity presents itself, every team does that and before you attack Triplett, the staff, and the kids, how many "classless acts" has went on while he has been head coach? I can't think of any, if you want to say we a history of doing some questionable things thats fair, but don't attack the current head coach for doing such things because they haven't went on while he has been thereMuletownManiac wrote:DIDO wrote:I looked at the location of crabs brother (under Dwights desk and I wonder why) and Muletown's is pasture of pain.......well what is a pasture

Bullcrap! There wasnt 7 seconds left on that last score. GET REAL. There was like 3+ minutes left. I would have punched it in too. It wasnt like you guys were getting destroyed (at least not on the scoreboard anyway). Dont try to turn this on Minford. Daniels has ALWAYS been classy and has never punched one in at the end for good measure.sider wrote:No you weren't saying anything about running up the score, you were just making a vaild point...anyway, yes West played almost four quarters (starters went out with almost 5 to go) because they played sloppy, uninspired football...they just didn't look very good and Pendleton broke a big run up the middle and he scored, he wasn't running up the score.Crab's brother wrote:DIDO wrote:I looked at the location of crabs brother (under Dwights desk and I wonder why) and Muletown's is pasture of pain.......well what is a pasture

Re: SOC2: West (5-0) @ Waverly (0-5)
It really doesn't matter......everything will be settled on the field anyhow. IMO...West by 2TD
Re: SOC2: West (5-0) @ Waverly (0-5)
I have to agree with the west fans on this one. I was at the game. Pendleton only had about 60 yards until the last run he broke for about 60 yards with 3 minutes to go.....He was subbing in and out the whole second half also. Number 15 is who Peake couldnt stop for the long runs. And it was a very sloppy game. After that last run i left to beat the traffic and nobody scored again. So I am guessing the starters didnt go back in. 34-6 is a very respectable win. Not a huge blowout like the Rock Hill game and I would have left my starters in until the 3 or 4 minute mark myself. Peake just couldnt get anything going that night. Offense or defense. They were a little dinged up but couldnt have won that game regardless. Thats just my opinion. Take away that last score.....I have seen several weird things happen in the last 3 or 4 minutes of a game and teams come from 3 scores down to win. I would have left them in too...not sure about the rock hill game. I wasnt there.

West can think its gonna be a blowout all they want but the tigers showed guts last friday and that momentum will carry on with them they will be ready and it will surely not be a blow out

LOL...no And sorry to tell ya it's gonna be a blowout!! Even when the JV comes in......West will be in the 50's once again!
Re: SOC2: West (5-0) @ Waverly (0-5)
aw sounds like muletown is getting a little bit scared of Portsmouth West coming to town. As far as the roughness of the game minford is no better. hate going to that place to play, worse than burg. But it will all be good once the SIDERS get past them it is on to an SOCII championship. Thank you very much & GO SIDERS!!!!
Re: SOC2: West (5-0) @ Waverly (0-5)
two years ago that was one of the loudest away crowds I have heard. I like how it's close to the field. If Minford wins this week, you better get there real early, cause that place will be rockin'. If they loose this week it will take some of the luster off the game, but still big. Paybecks are h___.sadie74 wrote:aw sounds like muletown is getting a little bit scared of Portsmouth West coming to town. I remember when the Waverly Tigers had there good team a few years back and pounded on West when they were down. Well the worm has turned and I hope the Siders go for two every score! Rip them up Siders!
