Re: TVC-Hocking: Belpre @ South Gallia
Belpre continues to look for a team in either TVC division they can beat after this one. Belpre's numbers for a D5 school are terrible, the talent they have on the field is fairly good they just don't have enough of them to make a real go of it currently. I hope more kids come out to play in the next few years, I'd really like to see that program become at least competitive if not relevent again.

This definetly gives Belpre a lot of help on offensive and with Eric back on defense as well, has to help a great deal. The Eagles have struggled badly on defense and haven't been able to stop anyone. Waderker can break the big one on offense at anytime against anyone and if the eagles can get a passing game going to RaShawn Miller and Ethan Lockhart. They can put some points on the board against SG.Hopefully SG will see a better Belpre team than they expect and the Eagles can pick up their first win in two years. GO EAGLES!!!
Definitely good news to hear. Hopefully they're smart with the two recently injured players and just use them for offense. Ullman's speed at QB and armstrength for passing will def help, although I'm sure his timing will suffer some. All that said, it can't get worse, provided they stay injury free.
Good luck Eagles.

I dont think it is so much the coaches or the players. I think it has to do with the post that people put on here and talk negative about the team and the coaches. The players read these threads and when you guys say that they dont have a chance, of course they dont have a chance when nobody believes that they can win.

Back in the day,Belpre was tough!!!!That was probably the most surprising thing to me going to the game last Friday.Belpres' fire dept was having bingo, and the parking lot was full. Not quite the same crowd at the football game.I've said it before on this site,IF IT'S NOT IMPORTANT TO THE COMMUNITY = LACK OF SUCCESS!!!! Belpre has some athletes.SG better be ready.

So true. People put posts on here to brag about their son, grandson, nephew, neighbor, etc. and try make their name known. That is the only positive "thread" that gets posted on here anymore. Otherwise, there are a lot of haters on these kids and coaches. Pffft. Whatever.
Hoping the boys pull together with a full healthy team and get the job done this week. Lets Go EAGLES!

Yes, the field is right before you get to the High School. It will be on your right on Mercerville Road.Just A Fan wrote:Is the football field at the high school?

South Gallia Football Player Jacob Fields was accidently shot tonight after the game at a friends house. From what I have heard Jacob is at St. Marys and in stable condition. Our Prayers go out to Jacob, his family, and to all involved in this accident.
The Rebels had a great win tonight by the score of 38-21 but this brings to mind what is really important!
Our prayers are with Jacob tonight.
