Eastern has a very good chance in this game. Steely is revising his "2010 Excellent Football Adventure" road map and will be in the beautiful Shade Valley to watch this game at Eastern. This one ought to be a dandy!

SE - I'm kind of torn on which game to go to Friday. I've seen the Iggles place once this year, but I've not seen Trimble. That being said, I pretty much know what kind of game Trimble brings, being that I've seen them play for what seems like 10 years in a row. I may go watch the Caldwell - Frontier game instead, but I'm undecided. May just depend on how I feel on Friday, a 40 minute drive to Frontier, or a 10 minute drive to Eastern......Hmmmm, we will see, may be a coin flip, but I want to see a good, competitive game on Friday, and both are important in DVI, Region 23.

SD: Frontier has a nice passing game. Big,tall,athletic QB. Exciting to watch.

With that said.....I expect East Shade River Stadium to be alive on Friday! I want to challenge the fans, and the STUDENTS, to get loud and cheer on the Eagles for an important game.

Eastern wins and they should be in.......can they handle the pressure? Can they play 4 quarters against Trimble? Can they end the losing streak against Trimble? Most people on here will say: "No. The Tomcats have nothing to worry about." What will the Eagles say on Friday night?

If Trimble plays like they did last week, physically beating down the other team, they will win this one going away like last year. The Gambler seems to have a way of getting his kids to play their best against Eastern each year. If Dyla and company run like they did, and Stobart and the rest of the defense crushes people like they did last week this will be a win. If not, Eastern may slip up on them. Hopefully Trimble will get the players who missed last week of the injury list and be even more charged up and ready to play.

I agree, but there are a couple of Seniors this year who are not afraid of the Tomcats. They really wants this win. All they have to do is keep the other players confidence up, will really be a big job but I think they can do it.
