If Wellston can win out, 5-5 is not too bad for a new coach's first year. Good luck the rest of the way.

The second half of this game last year was played in a mud bog if I recall it correctly, should be fun!

This game will not be on 96.7 FM...I was asked by hardfowl to correct his post.

The game is only going to be available on 1330 AM (and if you live in Wellston Cable channel 15).

Johnny Utah wrote:Just a side note to this game. This should be the last game played on this field with a new facility under construction at Meigs, and the Marauders on the road the last two weeks. It is ironic because the first game played on this field in the 1950s Pomeroy played and defeated Wellston 12-0. Just a bit unusual I thought!
When the rockets win do they get to pry that Plaque off the wall and melt it down in to rockets?

Could be a close one. One thing for sure: this Wellston team won't quit.

I pick Wellston on the road. Good luck to both teams, play a good game.

Marauders all the way on this one....it will be a hard fought game but a lot of emotion and sentimentality going on the field with the Marauders tonight. GO MEIGS and good luck!!!

Wellston gets a big win . I have been saying this with all the negative things being said that just be patient the wins will come . This staff will build a solid program in Wellston for years to come.
Next is a good Athens team@ Peaden stadium. The Rockets need another good week of practice . This should be a great game.

GO ROCKETS!!!!!!!!!!
