I hope you're right. If Jackson scores that many points, I think they definitely win this game. The Cavs have a balanced rushing attack with Corcoran, Oates, and Whittaker, but they have struggled at times to put points on the board. That said, their defense has been pretty dominant in SEOAL play, giving up a total of only 38 points in four league games. I really like the Jackson offense, and I'm confident that they can run the football in this game, but it's also possible that Chillicothe's defense may keep this a low-scoring affair.

It seems like you're usually right on things like this though, Ironman92, so it sounds good to me. :)

Jackson has proven thus far what kind of potential the team has. Iv'e never seen a team that where every single person on the sideline can be called in and make a play. I'm goin with Jackson by 3td's

The jackson defense seems to be strong when it come to stopping the run. I would be surprised if they get over 100 rushing yards against that defense

Hinton has a history of throwing something new into an important game and with a chance at a title in what has been a tough season for the Cavs, this is a possible upset game. Jackson is favored. If lowly Wellston could pull it off, the Cavs may have something new for the game and Jackson should be worried about both the last 2 games. I'd look for a change up D from Chilli to slow down or shut off the run game and confuse them. Should be an interesting game.

Seeing chilli play a few times this Year, I can tell you that the cavs just don't hit hard enough to beat Jackson. Ironmen will pound them into submission. Chilly is quick and stylish, not tough and hard hitting.

Jackson by a bunch, that crap about chilly holding 3 straight teams scoreless, Jackson makes up for all those points right off and Cavs shut down thier season early.

Do you think Jackson isn't already worried about the last two games? They realize that they have two HUGE challenges in front of them. Winning an SEOAL championship is no easy task. It must be EARNED every step of the way. Jackson has passed their first four tests...two left.

Also, I'm getting really tired of this "lowly Wellston" junk you keep repeating. There's no reason to keep saying that about them. Wellston played extremely well and was the better team on that night, but has struggled since then playing a tough schedule and battling some injuries. The fact is, though, that game means absolutely nothing at this point and you know it. Jackson is a completely different football team than they were back in August, just as most teams are. It's quite obvious that the Jackson football team put Week 1 behind them a long time ago. Maybe you should do the same. But that wouldn't be any fun, would it?

It depends on what YOU would call a SMALLER division team than Jackson is that is 3-5 and beat you. Its also relative since your record now stands at beating 5 teams with losing records and #6 coming to town with a losing record, but you couldn't beat that #7 losing team in the first week. Thats "lowly", but , hey,......................

I'm aware of the fact that Wellston is 3-5, and I'm not making excuses for them, or for Jackson. I'm saying that you should have more respect for the schools you post about.

Its hard to respect a team that has won 7 games out of 8 so far, but has a schedule that includes 7 teams with losing records,, one of which is a smaller division team with a losing record that beat you. The neutral guy that looks at that will ask are those guys really any good ? And thats a fair question. Please don't mention the tiggers. We all know they aren't what they used to be and probably never will be again. Nice win for you, but you really don't have much to brag about and playoffs just look ugly for you in playing real D-III teams. Respect ? I just hope you don't get embarrassed in the playoffs because there is nothing to get excited about with your regular season schedule . But, hey, you currently lead the SEOAL title race . Theres a cookie for ya !

haha...I shouldn't have even bothered.

I get what you're saying about the schedule. I get what you're saying about losing to Wellston. What I don't get is why you have to be so disrespectful with everything you say. You can be honest and factual without completely degrading teams.

I do think Jackson is a better football team than you give them credit for being, but I'm probably a little biased. Or maybe it's because I've seen them in person. Whatever the case may be, we'll see what happens the next couple weeks. Obviously I'm hoping that the Ironmen win out and win the SEOAL championship. I'll think about the possibility of the playoffs after Week 10.

Who is the "WE" you are referring to......must be yourself, and the rest of the Logan cronies and I dont have to name them since they know who they are. Just hard to let that Fighting Tiger envy go.......Ironton will be around a lot longer than you, so get plenty of envy pills because you are going to need them.......

To get back on topic, having seen both teams play this year, I think the Jackson running game will be more than the Cavaliers can handle. The Ironmen are in a league title hunt and I think they will take the trophy home this year.

Everybody should just disregard anything an idiot like Paladin puts out. Jackson, just like most of the schools here in SE Ohio, has a great bunch of boys playing football. Whether or not that makes them a great football team may be debateable, but we love our Ironmen football team. I am sure they feel the same way about their team in Wellston, regardless of their record. We don't care what an idiot like Paladin says. The Ironmen will keep playing until the season is over, whenever that may be!
