First year Head Coach Jason Peck has done a good job his first year. The way your acting you will never play for GA next season because they won't put up with that b/c its sounds like something did not go your way!!! JUST PLAY THE GAME!!!

South Gallia's success has been a pleasant surprise,BUT their wins have come against 2-6 Southern,2-6 Miller, 1-7 Federal Hocking and 0-8 Belpre and most of those wins were struggles.
I am reserved on the Coaching staff right now, however if they would they win both of their final 2 games i could say the Staff did a nice job.

rebelmoma im proud of danny and dalton they are good football players and excellent basketball players and will probably get to go to a good college in basketball...i just dislike coach pecks system i know the twins like it at sg but jacob hates it he tells me that everyday and i belive his only chance to get out of this crappy town is football
Wow! (scratches head)

Good Luck finding playing time there. Gallia is loaded and from what I hear will be very deep.
Gallia Academy loses the majority of their starters this year, they are not loaded for next year. Looks like the old GA charm is starting to work on another Couty Kid!

WOW!! Why would any one come on here and say things like that about players?

I guess you can post anything on SEOP's these days.

Who have they lost to they should have beat? They end the year with playing two teams that have a shot at playoffs, they won't win. They won the games they were suppost too and lost the ones everyone thought they would. You people act like this team is loaded with talent when it is VERY mediocre. Next year with all the experience for both the team and Peck, you will see a huge difference.

Waterford won by a bunch, I don't recall the score, but I honestly thought that it would be close. SG just needs to hang in, they've done well for their first year in the league.

I only saw the SG @ Eastern game. The Rebels have some young players. Many of them look to be well built kids. They definately look the part of football players. While I think they will improve, I have to say that I didn't see anyone on the field that was a Div 1 college football player. I also didn't see anyone that ran a 4.6 forty. Klint Connery from Eastern was probably the fastest player on the field, and I didn't see anyone from SG that could catch him. I don't know if Klint has ever had his forty officially timed, but I would guess its around a 4.7

I don't know this kid, and wish him nothing but the best of luck the rest of his career(except when playing Eastern :122249 ). With that said, I've seen many kids that were physically better than their peers at a young age, but were done growing as freshmen and did not stand out as much as seniors.

Went to the game Friday night and the Rebels looked much better than I thought they would. The game was much closer than the score showed, just seemed Waterford wore down the Rebels. Coach Peck has these guys on the right track.

Onto the White kid, he is a good runner, especially for a Freshman. Seemed like every time he ran the ball he bounced it to the outside and always broke 2-3 tackles on the play before being tackled. Seemed like he ran with a purpose and was not scared of contact and actually wanted it. On that note though, the boy does NOT run a 4.6. If he ran a 4.6, the plays he bounced to the outside would have went for big yards and usually TDs because there was nobody on that field that would stay up with 4.6 speed.

On Defense, I didn't get a good look at him because I seemed to lose him in all the players. When I did see him it seemed like he was a part of the play most of the time but didn't fly to the ball and make Alot of solo tackles. Of course, being a Freshman I didn't expect him to. He played his role on the D side of the ball and that's all you can expect as a coach.

Altogether, the kid actually did impress me. He may be well built for a Freshman but compared to the rest of the field his size didn't stick out. If he stays at SG I think he has a chance to be the best Running Back to come out of there if he keeps growing and puts a little more speed on his game. He could turn out having a GREAT career at SG if he stays.
