Actually if they lose all bets are NOT off. Had Trimble beat Wahama and then beaten SG all bets would have been off. If SG loses trimble and then beats Wahama(a HUGE task) they would still be in TVC contention. I guess what I am saying is yes this is a huge game but in no way will this make or break the Rebels season. If the SG were to beat Trimble they still have to beat Wahama. That is the make or break game in terms of the TVC.

I didn't mean that they couldn't win the league, I meant that people outside the SG community will look at them in a far different way with a loss as opposed to a win (not that the team or fans from SG will or should care). For the record I have a ton of friends in the Trimble community but would like to see SG get a win so we can have a great game to look forward to.

Won't be an easy win for either team.

I want to see how Cory Haner will step up against a good team. Hes has been a completely different player this year than in the past. I was surprised to see what kind of leader he had turned out to be.

When you're on top, you can't go anwhere but down. SG gets the win, time for a new king.

Simply put, SG can't afford to lose this game.

Hey, wait a minute Trimble hasn't been the king for going on two years now, it's that WV team in an Ohio conference that's winning nowadays.

I'm surprised we don't hear much chatter coming out of Glouster about this one.

I think Trimble wins. This will be Trimbles weakest team they have faced this year and it will be South G's toughest.

Good point!! Not saying SG is weak by any means but something is to be said about playing talented and physical teams early in the year and Trimble has played 2 of the three toughest teams on the schedule already. They should be ready to get physical on Friday, I hope SG is too but fear that mentally they are prepared but physically it may take them a quarter or so to get into the same mindset as a team that has already been challenged physically. GA used to run into that problem as Itown was our third game and we opened with weak teams in Meigs and Point or Meigs and CG and weren't ready for a good team, especially a physical team like Itown. SG needs to come into Friday with a chip on their shoulder and try to knock Trimble around early and often to set the tone. Talent wise this game is advantage SG or a push but Trimble should be more prepared for a dogfight.

Very good point. I wouldn't say SG hasn't been challenged so far this year as they started out with a win at East, but they have not seen NOWHERE near the teams Trimble has the past two weeks. I hope SG is looking at this game as a must win because like I stated before, they still have Wahama and Symmes Valley on the schedule and i think they will have to go atleast 8-2 to get into the playoffs and in all honesty may have to go 9-1. Physically I think they are ready as they have played much more physical than both East an Southern this year, it's the mental aspect that I would be worried about. Can't get down on yourself if you commit a turnover, penalty, give up a TD, or if Trimble scores first.

If this was at SG I would give them the upper hand. Being in Glouster after that long bus ride almost makes it a toss up in my book. A blowout by either team would really surprise me.

Won't be a dogfight SG will come in dominate both libes and score 24 they will shut Trimble down 8

Also the reason we lost to Ironton in the 3rd game was they were better and more physical to begin with i don't care if we played the Buckeyes the first 2games they were just better(excuses)
Sg played a very Physical Jamboree game plus east is no pushover
