Week 10: South Point (1-8; 0-4) @ River Valley (1-8; 0-4)

This will be the battle to stay out of the dark, wet, cold cellar of the OVC. I personally think RV can spring the upset at home. Thoughts?

Best of luck to RV...this is a chance to score an upset at home boys. Play hard, be mentally tough, and go to the whistle....if you do that good things will happen.

This game could play a key role in determining who gets a home game in Region 19 and 23. If RV gets the win, CG alone gets points over Valley insteading of both getting points with a SP win. Also, a Raider win means points for Symmes Valley, who is right on the verge of a home game.

KarlAgathon-I would say the old hallowed gravel pit will always have a special place in your heart along with the Cobra and MM!.

I haven't been up there in a while...

I always thought the place had great potential, and I won't likely forget running the Pork Chop Hill.

South Point football fans have gone the way of the dodo over the last two years. Good to see quite a few RV fans/supporters on here.

KarlAgathon-I have to agree on the potential on the place. As for the hill I will always remember be told we could not run it, I think that says a lot.

Not to anybody who has been around the place more than 10 seconds...
