i'd like to see monroe central win because i really dont wanna play the freddies if burg beats ridgewood!! lol but i see fredricktown on the winning side of this game

Never underestimate Chief Jay and his coaching staff. They will certainly be ready with a strong game plan, especially on the defensive side of the ball. Alot of things that haven't been shown will surface in this game. I like my Noles as the underdogs in this contest.

Remember, they've been there before and have done very well......

I can't offer a true prediction because I have never seen Fredericktown play. I saw F'town last year and thought MC could beat them last year, but I know the Noles aren't as good this year as last. Last year F'town had separate guys playing offense and defensive lines. If they are that deep again this year it will be a tough battle for the Noles.

The Noles are a junior dominated team. Give them all you have... you never know.

I always like a Jay Circosta team as the underdog. No one does a better job of preparing and having their team ready in a situation like this. Should be a really good game, unless MC is physically outmatched in the trenches. I like the Noles skill players, they should stack up well with their Freddies counterparts.

I know Fredricktown has a new coach and runs a different offense than they did from the past, and I haven't seen MC this season, but heard they lost some skilled kids last season. So it'd be hard to chose a winner. Though I personally want Freddies to win. Only cause if they win and Burg wins, they meet. Again! And Burg needs to get that monkey off their back! 2 VERY close games and 2 heartbreakers. But I don't know. I kinda think MC wins.

Regardless, its great to be in the playoffs!

Seems that most feel the the Noles have little to hope for???? "Oh yea of little faith"........The Noles may be the underdog but let me just throw out a few "tidbits"........

1. An undefeated team can be suprised early if they fall behind. So all of those on here from Fredericktown, PRAY that doesn't happen to you.

2. There is absolutely NO DOUBT that Coach C. and his staff will be very well prepared. I have seen first hand what this coach and his staff can do and I assure you that taking them lightly would be a hugh mistake.

3. Coach C., his staff and the team LOVE being underdogs.

4. If everyone is healthy, this is one very fast and talented team.

5. Special Teams will play a very big role.

6. Should Tyler K. have a great game? Noles 28-14.

^^^Actually I don't think anybody on here has seen both teams play. Maybe one or the other but probably not both. So take predictions with a grain of salt.

I'd like to see the Noles throw deep a little more than usual. 2nd half of Barnesville they ran a couple fades and posts and hit a couple. If they can stretch the field a little and create some running room for Kinchen they might have a chance. Kinchen will be one of the best players on the field. Ultimately the game will hinge on the guys in the trenches and how well the Noles can deal with the F'town depth. It was tough for MC last year to deal with Wheelersburg's separate offense and defense. By the end of the 3rd Q. the Noles were sucking wind.

Noles need to play a complete game - that's right - 4 quarters of football. The only game they did that was the Caldwell game when they went up 42-0 before they subbed and Caldwell scored twice on the MC reserves.

If Monroe Central plays hard for 4 quarters they'll have a chance.

Throw deep to Lindamood and Lafferre and Tyrone Kinchen. It probably won't be the shootout it was last year vs. Wheelersburg when DLD nearly willed them to a 'W'.

If Fredericktown is the real deal i'll have to see it, but I'll probably listen to Davidson and Catman Stephens on 93.5

Pretty much agree with all of this. I've seen Central twice, against Caldwell and Fort Frye. If they play like they did against Caldwell, i'd give them a real shot at winning against Fredricktown. If they play like they did against Fort Frye, they lose, and I don't think it'll be close. I'm sure Circosta will have them ready and have a great gameplan. He's one of the best coaches in the area.

Several post on here and JJHUDDLE.com keep saying that the "Freddies Are For Real".....Could someone please explain to me what that means? It's a long trip for MC fans to make only to find a team that "isn't there"????????
