Deathclutch i hear ya man and i totaly agree...... The funny thing is these Minford fans know that you are right, they are only trying to convince themselves. You can go back and look at any thread from this season and it is the same BS....... Minford is King..... Now, nothing against Daniels and his boys they have come a long way in the last few years and have become a solid ball club, but they are not nearly as good as a couple of Bozo's on here think they are!! Anyone with an open mind knows that the Oaks will do more than take care of business Saturday night. It is funny though the Pirates beat the Falcons by 32 and it was just a off night for Minford........ But Minford beats (an injured) Oak Hill by 13 and the Oaks got stomped??? One thing i can assure you of is that most Minford fans are very courtious, they make it a practice of leaving midway though the third quarter when getting beat......... I kind of helps the traffic problems after the game!!

Give it a rest Deathcluth apologised the other day........ He is useing an iphone...... and it does change the spelling quit often, i do think you can turn that feature off though.

He is a young man, said he graduated a couple of years ago and he is just standing up for his team....... While on the other we have couple of old geezers from Minford who are so old and out of shape they coudnt run across the street..... So they set on here and insist on argueing all week long with opposing teams fan base...... Reading their thoughts throughout the season reminds me of flipping channels on the tv and coming across Jerry Springer!

Let the kids play , C'mon Man! This is the best times of their young lives let them decide this on the field . This is a new game the past will not determine who wins.

All of you "SO CALLED MEN" really need to get a life....yes Minford beat Oak Hill and yes they were without their star qb, but come on this is HIGH SCHOOL KIDS!!!!! Minford will show up to the game and be ready to play. They will be ready for a battle as will Oak Hill, why don't you just let the boys settle it on the field. I believe in my FALCONS and I believe that they will win, that being said everyone on here thinks that his or her school will come out on top.

Stop the nit pickin' please.......it makes us all look a little immature.

LETS GO BIG RED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

13-0
So you want to throw out numbers? How about this one, 45-13! Does that ring a bell? That was the score when the Burg slaughtered Minford!

How about this number, what the series between Coal Grove and Minford?? Minford 4-0 over the Coal Grove Sweat Bees!

minford is a good team and yes im going to say slone and joey was out but that is not why oak hill lost! minford just played better football that night!! oak hill didnt have a bad game either they played well but they just played the game without heart! slone keeps the team togeather and like it or not everyone on the oaks team believes he is gonna take them where they wanna go and will listin to him! joey takes pressure off westen so he can run free and westen does the same and lets joey catch the ball! i promise you all will see a different oak hill team this week!
lets have a hard hitting football game and good luck to both teams!

Good post. I agree 100%.

Either team CAN win this game. There SHOULDNT be any blowouts either way.

Saw the Falcons in Portsmouth today getting some time in on the turf.

Good luck to both teams.

That is very cool that Portsmouth allowed it. Most local teams with new stadiums dont want people getting close to it unless they are playing on it.

^ Oak Hill Oak: Thank you and good luck to you!

Minford knows the Oaks are good and they respect their program. When you have posters come on here and say that is the only reason why Oak Hill lost is just plain ludicrous and is a false account of what really happened. Look at CalPreps and Drew Pasture both of them that predict this stuff with over an 80% accuracy are calling for a game that will be decided within 3 points. CalPreps has Minford by 1 and Pasture has Oak Hill by 3. I agree, this will come down to the team with more heart. See ya in Jackson!

Don't really think its that big of a deal, if Burg Ironton, or anyone would ask, I'm sure Coach Clifford and Portsmouth would try to accommodate them. Most of the Coaches in the area have respect for each other, and are willing to help once their team is out.
I remember one year, PHS had knocked Waverly out of the first round of the playoffs, and the late coach Bolin, came down to a PHS practice, and showed the Trojans how to run a specific set, that Waverly was successful with.
It's stuff like this that makes football around here so special. Everyone knows its about the boys, not themselves.
