Oak Hill VS Minford The Aftermath

I have talked alot of smack this week along with many others. All I have to say is "that was one HELL of a football game". Great job to the Minford Falcons they have nothing to hang their head about. This was just a great game between 2 great teams. The parade through Oak Hill after the game was amazing. There was fire trucks, police and sheriffs cars ,and miles of cars blowing their horns escorting the Oaks into town, with the whole town out standing in the streets cheering them on. I wish I would have taped that. Once again to Minford, you out Coached and out played us in the first half. Man what a Game!!!!! Final Score Oak Hill 31 Minford 27

Good post. All of southern Ohio will be supporting the Oaks and the Ironton Fighting Tigers next week. Minford dominated the first half, Oak Hill dominated the second half and won the game. No excuses. Both teams were 100% healthy. Both teams played their hearts out.

After running my mouth all week I didnt know what would happen tonight...lol. But it was one heck of a game. I knew win or lose, Minford had a good year and as long as Minford and Oak Hill played their hearts out and nobody got hurt, I would go home happy.

Again, I am PROUD to be a Falcon. And I will support the Oaks!

We arrived in Jackson just as that convoy was heading down Rt 93 and we elected to take the back way out of Jackson over to Rt279 and on into South Webster.

Great posts guys good sportsmenship minford played a heck of a game I watched it from the opposite score board side couldn't ask for a better game both played their guts out and left everything on the field way to go for both teams go oaks!!!! Beat the freddies!!!

i actually had planned on seeing this one as well. but my dog that has epilepsy, was having some seizure problems yesterday. even though he's on meds. so i thought it would not be safe to leave the house. he had 2 yesterday. but appears fine today. another vet trip monday i guess. he had been doing great. sounded like an awesome, who had the ball last kinda game.

All I gotta say is #3 for minford packed a huge lunch for lastnights game, I really enjoyed watching him lastnight... He can flat out FLY! But fell short, good job oaks I'll be rooting for ya....

Very Classy post Browns78, after all of the BS this week you could have been slamming us and your not......What a great game. Both teams played with heart and left it out on the field..I just feel sorry for all the Seniors....we love each and every one of you!!!!!!!!

Great game to watch. You're right about #3 for the Falcons , that boy runs hard. I think #21 from Oaks made the game changer when he stripprd the ball while the Falcons were driving and had the lead.
Great seson Falcons and good luck to the Oaks. Southern Ohio was and is well represented this fall.

I was pulling for the Falcons and was glad I made it to the game. I would have paid double the admission price. It was a great atmosphere, big hits, great plays and gut checks. Now, I just hope that the Oaks have enough in the tank for the Freddies! Good Luck Oak Hill!!!
