Wheelersburg's Brandon Schankweiler
Just heard that he was chosen to play in some sort of All-star game.
Does anyone know anything about this? What all-star game it is and when it is being played?
If it is so, congrats to the young man. Very well deserving. Had one of the better careers while at Burg
If anyone has his career stats, would like to see them on here.

Congrats and good Luck to Brandon
What Colleges are looking at Brandon right now? I'm sure He'll get some more looks after the All Star game.

If Marshall or OU doesn't pick him up they are not only losing a great football player and a great person, but they would also be losing an opportunity to draw in a fan base from not only the Burg but from the area to watch him play. Anytime a local player plays close to the area, you will always have the casual fan go and watch them play.
I don't know why for the life of me that OU nor Marshall will hardly even look at a player for Southern Ohio. To me it is not only about winning games but also about putting AIS(you'll have to figure that one out). I beleive that the more local talent you have the better chance you might have of selling more tickets. I'd heard that both OU and Marshall's attendance has been down over the last few years.

Has something to do with "LEVEL OF ABILITY TO PLAY COMPETITVELY" in the division. D-I not interested.
D-II/NAIA is probably accurate.
SEO plays poor competition schedules and the college coaches know it. Fix it.

Re: Wheelersburg's Brandon Schankweiler

Seriously, just put a sock in your pie hole. You have never seen the kid play, and there are plenty of kids from hicktown southern Ohio that play D1 football and not only start, but play well.
Go count all your money and enjoy your golden years.

Re: Wheelersburg's Brandon Schankweiler
he's full of crap as a christmas turkey. they obviously cannot do without the clown on here. so just pay him no mind. and he's quiet, we are doing just what the dipstick wants. i have not responded to him in months. and he's a huge part of the reason i don't play here much anymore. i don't have time for assinine statements like his life is too short.
Re: Wheelersburg's Brandon Schankweiler
Poor compettition? thats why Burg and other local schools invite bigger northern schools to play and crush them... i.e CVASJ coming to play Burg two years ago...the cometition here is fierce...but then again anyone who thinks Schank cannot play competitavely is full of itPaladin_II wrote:Has something to do with "LEVEL OF ABILITY TO PLAY COMPETITVELY" in the division. I agree. Schank def has what it takes to play at the D1 level. I can't wait to go watchin him play in the north - south gameThe D wrote:Poor compettition? thats why Burg and other local schools invite bigger northern schools to play and crush them... i.e CVASJ coming to play Burg two years ago...the cometition here is fierce...but then again anyone who thinks Schank cannot play competitavely is full of itPaladin_II wrote:Has something to do with "LEVEL OF ABILITY TO PLAY COMPETITVELY" in the division.
