Re: Field turf at Tanks memorial stadium
I heard yesterday that the majority of the money was in place, papers were gonna be signed this weekend. Work could start as early as next week to prepare the feild for the turf.
Tiger head in the middle, Ironton and Fighting Tigers in the endzones, Bob Lutz Feild on both sides around the 35 or so...

is this the last game for the tigers and ironmen, jackson finally won a couple.
Re: Field turf at Tanks memorial stadium
No rumor, it is in the works for sure. I have seen the rendition of the field from the contractor. It was the same as described above. It will be nice. There are different levels of donations that include game sponsorships, a plaque out front with contributor names, etc. You can make pledges and annual payments over 5 years if you decide to go that route. Coach Lutz is 100% behind the plan. Over half of the amount needed has been pledged so far and it looks like it could very well happen this year. It takes 10 weeks to install so things may start happening in the next few weeks. Give me a T.................................You're Tiger Bait wrote:---------this sounds more like a rumor to me, but it would be awesome.JIMMAH wrote:I heard yesterday that the majority of the money was in place, papers were gonna be signed this weekend. For the record I would 100% in favor of this. With that I woud prefer that they go with a Block I in the middle of the field.

Re: Field turf at Tanks memorial stadium
Rather than an "I" or Tiger Head, why not use the symbol of the Tanks who the field was originally built for...........

Re: Field turf at Tanks memorial stadium
The best thing about the artist rendering of the field turf is that there aren't any soccer lines!!!
