I can see N.Y. doing to Newark Catholic what they did to Trimble.

Re: Week 2 - Nelsonville-York (1-0) @ Newark Catholic (0-1)
First let me say this since Newark Catholic head coach reads these boards and my post seem to upset, not that I really care about how sensitive he is. And those who have read my post know that I have never disrespected a player and when I have voiced my opinion on things a coach did I have made it clear every coach on ever staff has forgotten more football then I ever thought I knew.
With that being said I think the Newark Catholic offense will struggle big time this based on what they did against Harvest Preps defense, which I. M O. will not be very strong when all is said and done.
The problem all started up front and as the game went on things got worse, up front
Bad snaps out of the shot gun all game long.
Trying to run outside on a team who’s slowest player might have been faster than your fastest player and doing so with no type of misdirection to try and fool the defense.
Turnovers on special teams play.
Kickoff unit allowing the offense to start around the 35 yard line on drives.
I could go on but the good people on this site are smart enough to see what I mean.
In closing these are the same mistakes that have followed this team for quite sometime and after game things are not going to change.

Buckeyes with a big win this week, despite how good or bad NC will be this year! Go Bucks!

Saturday or Friday? For some reason I thought most of NC's games were going to be on Friday this year...
Re: Week 2 - Nelsonville-York (1-0) @ Newark Catholic (0-1)
The schedule says 9/3 - which is Saturday

This will be the second meeting all-time between NY and NC. Last year was the first ever meeting. NY led most of the game and NC scored in the final minutes and took its first lead and won the game 13-9.
I'm looking forward to this game. Newark Catholic, Bishop Ready and Logan are our three measuring sticks this season to get a feel for how good this NY team really is. GO BUCKS!
Newark Catholic leads all-time series 1 win, 0 losses
2010 Newark Catholic (H) 13-9

The more I've heard about those 3 measuring sticks the more I think this could be the first 10-0 season for NY since 1997-98. Bucks will just have to make sure they win some close games and stay healthy! Go Bucks!
Re: Week 2 - Nelsonville-York (1-0) @ Newark Catholic (0-1)
IDK but if I was to make an educated guess this game will probably be played at Newark White Field but like I said I Don't Know GO BUCKS stay focused on the task at hand !
