Re: Week 1 - Wellston at Jackson
The post-game show on the radio was cut off last night before the stats were given, so I don't have them yet. I'll probably get them this evening or tomorrow sometime.ironmen85 wrote:Does anybody have stats for the game thanks
Re: Week 1 - Wellston at Jackson
Anybody watching the replay of the game on Time Warner? Did anyone else lose sound during the special feature about the rivalry at halftime?
Re: Week 1 - Wellston at Jackson
I just turned it on at work (Grove City) and we don't have any sound as well.

Thanks, Riverhog. Glad to know it wasn't just me.
Ironmannut07,
No stats yet. I'll pass them along when I get them. Also check out the Times-Journal's Tuesday edition. I think the stats in the T-J are very accurate and they're always the ones I go by.

Wow. Really?Ironman92 wrote:Prater -5 yards rushing on 13 carries
Wonder how many times was he sacked? Seemed like Barr, Ervin, and Landrum spent a lot of time in the backfield last night.

Re: Week 1 - Wellston at Jackson
I dont think wellston will have the best player in the tvc this year but we will see.. it seems if you stop prater you beat the rockets and that wont be to hard for a few teams>>> young is the holding that number one spot in the tvc for best player so far imo best RB anyway.. hes just getting started.. i know the season is still young,, but when its over its still gonna be young :122245

I think most people will agree, that Prater is a much better LB than he is a RB. He would be a good QB if they had another stud RB for him to hand off to.

This is probably the best jackson defense in a long long time!!... with offensive potential out of the roof... if they continue coming together itll def. be a special season!!

Bleeding Red, look at the stats and tell me how many carries any backs got. I believe the most was 5. not enough to find a rythym. Which credit goes to Jackson D for disrupting everything coming at them.Bleeding Red wrote:buckeyeguy wrote:I dont think wellston will have the best player in the tvc this year but we will see.. it seems if you stop prater you beat the rockets and that wont be to hard for a few teams>>> young is the holding that number one spot in the tvc for best player so far imo best RB anyway.. hes just getting started.. i know the season is still young,, but when its over its still gonna be young :122245

Re: Week 1 - Wellston at Jackson
I agree with you to an extent. Most plays were blown up in the backfield or at the line of scrimmage because Wellston's O line was getting beat off the ball almost every snap. Jackson keyed on Prater and Wellston had nothing else to go to for offensive production. That is what everyone Wellston faces is going to do until Wellston finds another way to move the ball.steelcurtain44 wrote:Bleeding Red, look at the stats and tell me how many carries any backs got.
