Athens Football Officials Association Football Classes

The Athens Football Officials Association in conjunction with the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) is offering a football officiating class for new officials.

The fee for the class will be $80 and will be held at the Hocking College Energy Institute at 30140 Iles Rd. Logan starting on Aug. 12, 2012 at 7:30pm. Prospective new officials must apply online at officials.myohsaa.org to register for this class and see class dates and times.

The prospective football official will receive a minimum of 25 hours of instruction on the playing rules and mechanics of officiating football. This includes on hand experience. Don’t miss this opportunity to really get into the game.
