Fort Frye scored zero points on Fredericktown. Fredericktown was a good team, but there defense gave up 500 yards to a 6-4 non playoff team this season. Not exactly sure what Ft Frye is loaded with. Thank there lucky stars they did not have to face some of the Freddy teams in the past that Buckeye Trail, Caldwell, and Monroe Central all had to and lost. Don't beef the schedule just yet, start by playing some C+ grade teams first, then add the beef.

Fredericktown beat 9-1 Paint Valley and only lost in the Regional final by 13. Grandview was scoring 50 ppg only scored 28 on them so they must of figured something out. Fredericktown had it going at the end of the season. Also Cadets return 4 1st team all district players and multiple players that were on the all state list including Casey Lewis who was 2nd team all state and had 18 tds including over 100 in the playoff games. The playoff game was just an off night for a very good freshman QB. Trust me Cadets return 3 starters on the line including 2 Srs that are well over 270.Garrett Lockery who had 12 tds and is a fantastic player and Brady Carpenter who had over 100 tackles. Also Clay Baker FB who had huge games vs MC and Caldwell. This team will be very good next year.

Maybe the entire region was weak....I don't like to think that I mean Kirtland just won the D6 state championship over Marion Local, in the final 4 Kirtland just barely got by Grandview Heights. Fredricktown was soft up front this year, I understand a lot of players return for Fort Frye including a freshman QB (that has to feel nice for the next 3 years), but I'm concerned that there league does not prepare them for the playoffs. Not there fault persay just what I see.

That's why they need to up the schedule you made my point for me. Next yr might be one of the best Fort Frye teams ever perfect time to up the schedule. Most likely if they play the same schedule next year they go 10-0 or 9-1 and end up 6th or 7th seed.

What does Fort Frye like to do offensively? I gotta be honest I did not catch the Fredericktown game that I "know so much about " or at least like to act like I do lol I was watching Johnstown Monroe and Meadowbrook that night.

They run spread wing T but they did do more under center stuff this year.

Casey Lewis quit basketball to focus on football and get bigger I think he will be a candidate to be all state next season.

Due to competition and kids taking it upon themselves to work extremely hard all the time (which is great in my opinion) it is getting tougher to play multiple sports. Playing two sports today is probably as time consuming as what participating in three used to be.

There are some good matchups on that list, but I figure Fort Frye would lean toward an OVAC game.

The Cadets really will struggle to get a home game at (10-0) if they don't change the schedule a ton of bad teams on current schedule.
