Great game by both teams. For my Grove it was a tough lost but not the end of the road. In 1992 the Grove had a nine game schedule and went 8-1 with their only loss to Wheelersburg. That season the Grove won the OVC and made it to the second round of the playoffs. There is still a lot to play for so keep your heads up and get ready for next week @ Valley.

as a partial spectator in the game.. I will say that I went expecting Wheelersburg to dominate...What I saw however was 2 even matched teams going battle. Wheel.ersburg was alot more "soft" than I thought they would have been. I believe they beat a very young CG team by a TD ...that they possibly should have beaten by 3 TD's or more. IMO
I'm not sure of Wheelersburg's depth or if they are a veteran team or not..but all I can tell you is both teams looked young and I dont expect either team to win many games. once again IMO.

I understand game situations and match-ups. A team can/will perform differently against different opponents. I wouldn't say the Burg is soft and their record at the end of the season will be 7-3 or better. This is the same Burg team that gave Ironton all they wanted and they shoulda/coulda beat them, if not for the two quick scores in the 1st. I'd look at it a bit differently if I were you. I'd say CG is a bit better than many think. Sounded like the Claxon kid from the Burg ran wild in the secondary all night long. I wonder what his stats were at the end of the game.

Well your right about one thing you are a partial spectator( biased-prejudiced according to dictionary) you joined at 2am to claim your "impartial" so you could claim the burg was soft. Nice first post.
