first of all i am not a rv fan i just went to that game to see how meigs and rv looked,i saw 2 pretty even matched teams,rv made more mistakes and had chances to stay in the game but either fumbled, blew coverage on 4th and 25 from the 50.the brown kid was the best football player on the field,
meigs made the plays they needed to make but they were able to because rv made mistakes.

mojo is too dumb to read a post he just shoots off his mouth with out thinking,or maybe he cant read. i noticed he got off the lewis subject because he didn't have a clue what he was talking about. just a chance to bash someone.

once again meigs will win maybe 3 games?? want to bet mojo?
I believe Boyer for Meigs was tge best player on the field but Brown was definitely a force and should be RV's biggest weapon moving forward. I say Meigs wins 5 games this year. Also, I see mojo's point. I didn't see even teams on that field. I saw a team with an identity and one without. RV didn't give Meigs enough credit. They seemed to have forgotten that Meigs had taken 8 in a row, most in dominant fashion going into that game. RV needs to come out with some fire and play every game with chip on their shoulder. They cannot become content with anything they do. I think Meigs played with that chip in their shoulders last night.

So Bevo, since people are agreeing with mojo doesn't that make YOU one of the most uneducated poster on SEOPS? LOL

Oh and you say you're NOT a raider fan you're kidding right? You're one of the biggest raider nutswingers alive! But of course now they've dropped a couple so I'm sure you'll go back to troll the GAHS threads!

they can get better and athletically they are not that bad, they need to go to the young qb now and need to play the young players. some freshmen and most sophomores very talented, can you imagine in a couple years if these kids keep the attitudes they have how good they can be,the sr's are the last class of the old school and old thinking! but imho the coaches need to stop begging kids like the lewis kid to play and play the kids who are dedicated because they have work ethic and want to get better,
Actually the Seniors are the first freshman class of the new school.....so the "old thinking" excuse is getting worn out.

The biggest difference I saw in the game against Meigs was that Meigs had 2 players that were faster than anyone on RV. RV also missed a lot of tackles A LOT.
Who plays QB for RV this week?

One of the biggest things I saw on Friday night that absolutely killed River Valley, was that Meigs had 2 maybe 3 TD's where it was like 3rd down and 18 or longer!! That was a big part of the Meigs win for me. But this week is over, and now on to Nelsonville-York.

GO RAIDERS!!!!

I'm saying this not to say that Whobrey is not good, because I feel he is pretty good, but I am so impressed with Hardway as I expressed before the season even started. I think he gets the start, but Austin will be on the field on offense in some capacity. I really think Whobrey is an asset, but honestly, Dayton is the best option at QB moving forward. The missed tackles were awful. That score right before half should have been stuffed. They were putting themselves in position on defense but not finishing.

Looks like I'm not so dumb as some of you implied when I mentioned this before huh.

The coach/ad is an adult & is more than capable of defending himself . The funny thing you are to stupid to realize you basically agreed with me in an earlier post when you said coaches need to stop begging kids to play

Dayton is a good kid with alot of potential. BUT, Not to many freshman can make it at the varsity level unless they have a real gift in athleticism and Varsity game understanding. I would not let him be the starter "cold turkey" , but getting him in the game here and there could be an option that would allow him to grow into the speed of the game and be able to adjust to the varsity level quicker. I have not seen RV play so i may be speaking out of turn here. Maybe he's ready. I dont know. Maybe The current QB may just not be able to do the job that is needed, so RV is forced to make this move. Regardless, this could ease him into this position while not putting him at whits end as typical will happen with a freshman playing a key position. That being said ,I wish him and the Raiders all the best if they need Dayton to step up and take on the role as a freshman. I will rooting (sp) him on and if not i will be rooting for them anyways and with the decisions they make.
