You heard it here first.
I wouldn't keep any of them.
The Supt. of schools better be starting to compile a list of coaching canidates soon! I also agree a total new staff!

maybe they should replace them with the freshman coaches--but then are the freshmen so talented that these coach can't mess it up.

For as long as I can remember, Logan always had programs as early as the 4th grade. Mel Adams had 4th graders playing flag football but running the varsity offense... And when the arrived at the varsity they were ready to compete. Have the kids lost touch with Chieftain traditions? Just because a coach played for Logan, doesn't mean he will be a good coach.

Now they have to get ready for an Alder team that is mad after getting wooped by Clinton Masse last night. It could get real ugly this week.

I am not bashing Logan but how can a program fall so far so soon. What happen Newark is the worst team I seen play this year there defense is a TD waiting to happen. I hope Logan can get back on track we play them next year week 8

Good Luck the rest of the year

Also its not always the coaching remember coaches are not allowed to play.

Yes but the coaches coach the young men and are in charge of the progam. You guy's have a coach who instilled discipline back into your program. What happend Friday night was a coaching staff failure to have the young men prepared to play!

Logangrad wrote:Explain to me how there was a failure to have them ready to play? An interception for a TD and a fumble inside their own 20 to start the game that led to another TD was the difference. Logan then came back and scored three straight TDs! They outscored Newark 33-14 after the first 7 mins of the game! Turnovers are a part of every game. EVERY GAME. The coaches didnt fumble. The coaches didnt throw an INT. What happened Friday night was missed XPs and key turnovers early in the game. Logan amassed over 400 yds on the ground. They had two RBs go for over 150 yards, including McCarty who ran for over 200. You have complained before that Logan needs to line up in the I and run the football and they did and were very successful. But thats not good enough for you. You look for things to gripe about and call out coaches. At some point the players need to make plays. The coaches cant throw, run, or tackle. Logan had 6 Dbs on the field in the final 5 mins; 6!! Newark got three straight first downs, Logan made adjustments, and got the ball back to give the offense a chance to win the game. Music's pass to Jordan on 4th down was one of the best plays he's had as a QB and the COACHES made a ballsy call on the play call. TO's were the difference in the game; not failed preparedness.
Yea Yea Yea, excuses are for losers! Grad they played the worst football program in the state of Ohio! In life you are judged on results not what happened!

Here is the sad truth .................. Logan has given up a ton of points to some poor teams. 42 pts, 32 pts, and 35 pts. Thats an average of 36.33 pts per game. Newark is one of the worst programs in the state and will end with a big losing record. Northland will also end with a losing record. Lancaster will probably end around.500. All three are currently 1-2. Stop looking at the offense. The defense is terrible. You can't win games giving up 36 pts a game. And because its against poor teams does not bode well. The SEOAL is notoriously weak again this year, yet Logan may struggle if the D isn't prepared to stop giving up 36 pts a game. At this point Logan needs to be better prepared on D or the season will be a bust. And I am told the athletes aren't that bad. Wrong D scheme ? Maybe. In any event, I think the "die has been cast".

Changes are coming.

I totally agree Paladin! People do sometimes put too much blame on the offense, but the defense been been horrible for 3 years now,Wolfe has proven he can coach offensively with the talent he is dealt and the numbers prove it the last 3 years they are scoring points but give up more then they score.I hate to see coaches fired and never call for it, but if he is to survive he has to get somebody to shore it up while he concentrates on offense. It seem as if they no longer can anticipate what the offense is going to do before the snap, special teams also have contributed to the problems

After the 1st quarter Logan is giving up less than 20 points a game. With a better 1st quarter we would be 2 and 1
