I hate those sights that try to predict scores. So much you can't account for like matchups, gameplanning etc just doesn't work in there formula they useohbuckeye2 wrote:Calpreps:

I think stopping Lewis is the key to stopping Ironton. Without him, they become a much more average team. I dont know much about Ashland this year. I only know they are undefeated. Who have they played? Good Luck Ironton!

Raceland 3-1
George Washington,wv 2-1 2 time state runner up in wv
Russell 1-2
Only game that was close was GW all the others were blowouts.

i wish we had some tomcat fans on here to jaw with. and this has been a rivalry for i spect 100 years, regardless of who won the last 2 of 3.

Coach Hart has the program going great. But you dont lose 17 in a row and it be a rivalry two out of 3 is a good start. But eventually you gotta win on the other guys field. If the tomcats pull that off on Friday for the first time since 1990 it would be one of the biggest wins in program history and a signature moment I think. I think this is the year they finally get it done. You're Tiger Bait wrote:i wish we had some tomcat fans on here to jaw with. and this has been a rivalry for i spect 100 years, regardless of who won the last 2 of 3.

Ashland all the way! 35-12. Don't kick to number 22, he will burn you! Galia kicked it to him and that was the difference in the game. Take him out of the game and Ironton will be in some trouble. Ironton relies on this Murphy kid a lot. They also like to throw to #45 out of the back field as well as to #22. Take that away and this equals victory for Ashland.

GW did not have Switzer in that game. He had a confusion. Division 1 running back.Tomcatfan7220000 wrote:Lawrence county 2-2urban buck wrote:I think stopping Lewis is the key to stopping Ironton. Unfortunately we don't know if it wouldve played out differently. From my understanding the backup was very good as well as long with the fb crowder also a d1 commit. So it is still a quality win I believe. Ashland did a good job in Switzer last year and the defense is better this year. I think Ashland is the better team and if this game was at Putnam I'd pick them by 20 plus. But tank stadium is worth 14 points to the tigers in the wonderful environment they have anything can happenStonewallJackson89 wrote:GW did not have Switzer in that game. He had a confusion. The Fighting Tigers are 3-0. It's a 3-0 with some ugliness to it, but it's 3-0. I'm going with Ashland in this, but I distinctly remember Ashland being a heavy favorite 2 years ago (I picked them too) and then watching in awe as they were horribly mauled by the Fighting Tigers in the midst of an electric atmosphere at Tanks Memorial Stadium. I hope to see the same outcome Friday but Ironton will have to play by far it's best game of the year.

Is a confusion the same as a CONCUSSION........StonewallJackson89 wrote:GW did not have Switzer in that game. He had a confusion. First of all Ironton does not have a Murphy in the lineup this year...............I dont think passes to 45 and 22 should be a concern as much as the running threat they pose.....it is pretlty obvious you know very little about Ironton's offensive scheme.....TigerTownTurkey wrote:StonewallJackson89 wrote:Ashland all the way! 35-12. Agree with Stonewall but who is Murphy? Lewis is fast. Can Ashland match Lewis' speed?

This will be some major computer points if the TIGERS can pull of a win!!!

I think that Ashland is far better than any of the three teams Ironton has played to date.
An effort (or rather a lack of effort) equal to that shown vs. GAHS will likely get Ironton a crushing defeat.
