Week 4: Nelsonville-York (1-2) @ River Valley (1-2)
The Buckeyes travel to Bidwell to take on the River Valley Raiders in Week 4. NY is finally at full strength with its roster and the three missing players from Week 1 and 2 made a HUGE statement in a 62-21 win over Berne Union in Week 3. This will be the 6th all-time meeting between the Buckeyes and Raiders, although NY did play the former North Gallia Pirates 4 times in the early '70s. If you count pre-consolidation numbers for River Valley, this will be the 10th all-time meeting. NY leads the all-time series 4-1 over River Valley and 8-1 if you count the North Gallia games.

Maybe they should follow the Oaks lead and schedule that football powerhouse Rock Hill instead!swamprat wrote:Back to back Cupcakes for the greyhounds.Sugar up boston

As for this game the Buckeyes should win easily with or without North.

I was a proud member of that 2003 RV team that pulled off that win in an amazing game.
Anyway, I say NY wins, but I bet a different RV shows up and keeps it respectable. NY 34 RV 19

Run your mouth, your Oaks want NO part of those Buckeyes!

May not be enough spots on the scoreboard for this game.

This is a warm up game for the Next game. Then they will put the beatdown on the Chiefs again this year!

N.Y. has a game like last week as they slowly get things headed in the right direction and make their playoff run.

NY will win.........
I do think a very motivated RV team will show up and play tough for a while.
I will say
NY-42
RV-22

NY will win, but it may take some time to pull away. I can see like a 35-21 or 27-14 game. The O is coming around, but the D is still giving up a little too much.

Not much discussion on this game. I think if NY plays a game against anyone that cannot generate multiple pages of discussion, that is a sign that few fans care about that game, which should reflect on who NY schedules in the future. Ideally, fans are excited about all 10 games being played each year.

RV will see one of the best coached, most fundamentally sound teams in Southern Ohio this Friday night. They had better not miss tons of tackles or turn it over 4-5 times, this could get ugly fast.

NY will win that is ust expected from a Buckeye team!!! NY looked better last week and will continue to get better each week, but with just getting all their players back it will take time to get up to speed while they work everything out..
LET'S GO BUCKEYES!!!!!!!
Hope for an injury free game for both teams........

Schedule your games according to the amount of attention they get on SEOP? Wow... Do you know how small of a percentage of the people who attend the games actually even look at this site. NY and NC got 2 pages of comments and NC had 25 people at the game.NYBuckeye96 wrote:Not much discussion on this game.
