I have now had all my quesitons answered about this team. Hate to say it, wouldn't suprise me if we lose next week to Rock Hill.
Re: Coal Grove vs Ready
I totally agree. This team is just missing a leader.. And a heart. What was the final in this one.
Re: Coal Grove vs Ready
I think this season was affected big time when the Steele kid got hurt. When you lose a playmaker like that on both sides of the ball it takes a toll, especially on a young team!

We've all got to remember that this is a young Hornet Football team. First time experience for most of the starters. Give them time. We've been here plenty of times! Don't give up on them just yet!!!

Really? Because of a beef with the coach they decided to run up the score? Wow. Looks like with the success Ready is having, they have a lot to learn about class.ohio football wrote:Coach Lucas should have exchanged film with Ready. Hence the 72 points
Note to Coach Cutler: When you decide to "put up 80" or whatever silly thing you said because Coach Lucas did not "do your homework for you" you dont embarrass him. You embarrass the kids. I hope that is worth it.
Looking at your schedule, your time is coming. You might have wanted to save those points for a couple games down the road.

I agree it's pretty much a given that you exchange film with your opponent. Only Granville refuses to trade film with Jtown and it's because they play week 1.

Re: Coal Grove vs Ready
FYI Readys new stud RB is a recruit. And the Ready community is classless as can be. I witnessed this on the field. Until the OHSAA clamps down on private schools ,they will continue to dominate small town public schools. Ready will use public school stadiums and recruit their players at those schools. You see Ready doesn't have a football stadium. They USE in everyway possible.
