I'm not sure if this has been stated before in this thread....but the game tonight is supposed to be broadcasted on TV tonight. I am not sure of which channel, it may be FSN.

ALMOST GAME TIME
On the radio on WIRO 1230 AM
Jason Philyaw and Kevin Anthonee with the call - they're the best
On the internet: http://www.foxsports1230.com/main.html
Click on LISTEN LIVE at the top left corner then on PLAY STATION in the middle next.
I've started a separate UPDATES thread leaving this one free for commentary.

Is it possible to fire a head coach in the middle of a game?
Re: Week 5 (4-0) Ironton @ (1-3) Portsmouth
35 - 0 wow. Ironton passing the ball, 4 pass TDs this year.
Re: Week 5 (4-0) Ironton @ (1-3) Portsmouth
Figures, I was listening to Coach Thomas and the feed goes out.
Re: Week 5 (4-0) Ironton @ (1-3) Portsmouth
Ironton let off of the gas, now it's 41 - 27. Tigers need to step back on the pedal, they have let Portsmouth back into the game.
Re: Week 5 (4-0) Ironton @ (1-3) Portsmouth
maybe coach vass took this team a little to lightly. maybe he should make sure his team playes 4 qtrs. instead of puttin his subs in the 2nd. lol.
not 1 time that i can remember coach lutz puttin subs that early. He always played the first team until half no matter what. these kids have a tough 3 weeks ahead of them to sit out 3 qrts. I guess being a first time coach probably not wanting to get a bad rep of running up the score. very understandable.

sounds like Ironton could have scored a 100. The game was never in jeopardy...class act on Vass's part, IMO

Ironton is no doubt a great team. Can't really brag too much on the high score when you are playing a very young and injured team. Now that's just the truth! Would have been a great game as usual if there were no injuries and we has seniors like you all do.

ironton has a whole bunch of kids banged up i am sure vass is trying to get guys out and rested as much as possible and not get any new injurys, but yeah classy move. really dont expect anything less from ironton for the last 4o years.

got kinda sloppy in the second half. but give portsmouth credit they were still out there hitting. i think a team that passes well, will be our waterloo, if we don't start getting more pressure on mobile qb's. and our secondary fell aslpeep.but it was a great atmosphere, and the fighting tigers are 5-0.
we still are missing a ton of tackles.
