Isaac Brabson from Piketon. His numbers are incredible with a bunch of dropped passes. Dual threat big time.
He is 112-171, that's 65% with a total of 1417 yards. Also averages 7 yards per carry. That means he rarely gets sacked cause they can't catch him.

Brabson from Piketon has very good receivers. They have had drops, but they have thrown the ball almost 200 times. He has fast receivers that can make plays, and has one heck of an offensive line. They give him all day to throw. His lineman have some great size too, and can move.

I was impressed by Howard from valley. I think he's underrated.

Brabson from Piketon, and after that as far as throwing ability it's not even close.
Re: Best Quarterbacks in Southern Ohio
Not seen Brabson play but his numbers are impressive and most have said he has alot of zip on the ball
Hitchen-Bolins has great touch and timing. Many times the ball was out before the break of the receiver.
Miller is good at timing the ball to the receiver as well. His ball sometimes isnt pretty but its very catchable. Plus he makes good in game descisions.
All three seem to be very good.

I think Waverlys QB as far as pure QB. IMHO he is by far the best passer. He just dont have the line or the team around him that these other QBs do that has been mentioned.
Re: Best Quarterbacks in Southern Ohio
I agree. He is a great pocket passer, not very elusive though. I think thats what makes brabson and miller good, they can extend the play. Not seen the Athens kid. Numbers seem impressive.

Re: Best Quarterbacks in Southern Ohio
I haven't seen any of the QB's mentioned above other than the Waverly QB and I know I sound like a "homer" in saying this but I've never seen a QB in person at the high school level who throws the ball any better than Joey Burrow and I've seen some really good ones over the years. The kid is incredible for high school let alone for a sophomore, he's smart, works hard, doesn't make poor decisions, doesn't turn the ball over, is accurate down field, rarely throws a bad pass, looks off defenders, goes through his progressions, and he runs well both in designed runs and scramble situations. I don't know anything else you could ask for at this level than what this kid brings to the table.

Wade Jarrell from Gallia Academy has a great arm and able to move really well in and out of the pocket!

Re: Best Quarterbacks in Southern Ohio
I know you have to cross the river to get to Wahama - but they are in fact in an Ohio league ...
The White Falcons TRENTON GIBBS may not have the best season stat records, but his career has been nothing short of remarkable!
The kid has never lost a regular season game as the starting QB for Wahama ... he is 28-0!
Overall they are 33-2.
He's won 5 playoff games.
2 league championships (and gonna be three here in a few weeks)
Took his team to the state semi-finals his junior year - and led them to the state title game as a soph.
Pretty good resume, IMO.
