It seems that Jr Sauers really admires Penrod

This has been a back and forth game so far. They both really want it. :122245 Gallipolis has a 3 point lead, but Jackson gets the ball first after the half.

Congratulations Gallipolis. What an exciting game. As usual Gallipolis and Jackson slugged it out all evening. Great game by both teams. You both left it all on the field.

Glad to see this was a good game, two first class fan bases got what they deserved from their respective teams tonight. Jackson kids should keep their heads high, four of their loses were to quality opponents who will be playing next week with three of them being close games, no shame in how you played this season. Congratulations to Gallia Academy on their league title and playoff birth, good luck next week!

Way to early to tell, could be McNicholas, Circleville, Logan Elm, etc., to many scores not in yet and games tomorrow could have an impact. Check Joe Eitel in the morning, it'll paint a much clearer picture.

First of all, congrats to Gallia Academy. They're the outight SEOAL champions and they earned it. Represent our league well in the post-season.

Tonight was exactly what a league championship game should be. A 30-27 game, back and forth, right down to the final minutes. Both teams played their hearts out, and you can't ask for anything more than that. The Blue Devils get bragging rights for the next year.

I'm proud of this Jackson team. As A-Town Big Dog said, they lost some close game to some very good football teams. They battled some ups and downs, some injuries, and some tough losses, but they represented their school and community with everything they had tonight. Keep those heads up.

To Jackson's seniors...thank you for everything you did for the program. You were part of two outright SEOAL championships, you made two playoff appearances and got a win in the first round last year, and you were part of a perfect season last year as well. Those white jackets, and the other great memories from your football career are yours forever. You truly are Ironmen and you should be proud of what you accomplished. You're all part of a proud tradition of Jackson Ironmen Football.
