Pending on a few other outcomes, Eastern may be in the playoffs before they even take the field Saturday night.

Then again, it may come down to the final outcome of this one.

The field was in excellent shape. I dont know what you mean by poor field conditions. It wasnt played at Trimble it was at Southern.

There is no guarantee that Eastern Will make the playoffs. They will deffinetly need a win Saturday. If River wins things will get very close. It's gonna come down to percentage points. If Fairfield Christian loses Easterns in but if everyone wins it's going to be so close. Eastern just isn't getting any secondary points.

I heard the same thing , from what i was told someone At eastern caught the mistake & asked the ohsaa for advice on how to handle it and they handed down the ruling

The kid has since been ruled eligible, just in eligable for a few games

if an ineligible player played in any games, those games will have to be forfeited according to ohsaa regulations. i was told that the ineligible player played in three of easterns wins. if this is true, eastern out of the playoff picture.

Have you not read anything? That's all we've been talking about. Eastern forfeited the games and will be ineligible or the playoffs but all the boys are eligible now and will be ready for Southern Saturday

I kept out of this till now, since I do have some insight and knew it would all be resolved. As many now know Eastern's athletic administration was on top of this, and ahead of the game by allowing the player to play so they could get the wins, and now will pay the measly $100. This means a win this week will make them look genius. I think all the bashers owe an apology to the AD, Principal, and Superintendent who were on top of this and have made it possible for the Eagles to probably make the post season. :12224
