If the case is about change of custody, then Eastern is done. The ohsaa will not give eligibility until after the courts have declared the child into the other parents custody. If they played before the change of custody, they are ineligible. I love the ohsaa quote about the schools adopted this! lol

Well, there's no guarantees with the OHSAA, flip-flopping like this. Also, maybe other schools will file papers tomorrow, who knows? Either way, the final point tabulations won't be done until Joe Eitel says it is around 10 pm Saturday, lol.

Then the change of custody had to be have been declared before the first game the player partcipated in. As someone who deals with these situations as an AD, they terrify me! My favorite is a kid moves in at the beginning of the school year, and the poor parents have to run around like crazy people trying to get their drivers liscense and voter registration changed, just to wait for the ohsaa to make a decision! lol I for one hope this is true.

I'm very happy that the OHSAA has done the right thing here. Obviously, Eastern's administration was able to substantiate, through documentation, that procedures and protocol were followed, and thus, no violation. Let's move on.

Now OHSAA says wins will be restored according to WSAZ. Does the OHSAA really have no clue? Great news for Eastern and glad to hear it. But OHSAA first says they are standing firm on their decision and short time later they flip flop. Right hand has no clue what the left hand is doing. Good luck Eastern!

Ironically, SG was the third team from the TVC Hocking in the playoffs last year and a win could help Eastern become the third playoff team from the TVC Hocking this fall.

The Rebels could also help eliminate River, the first team SG ever faced in the playoffs.

Congrats all around. This gives the Hocking the potential to have 3 teams in the Playoffs. 2 are in for sure--tell me again why people want to change a league around that sends a 3rd of its teams to week 11!!
