In it to win it and do what ever it takes to win it.

isn't lancasters field turf now? be pretty close to halfway for both schools.

No it is not, its Logan, Sheridan, then you are up into Columbus. I'm not sure if Canal Winchester is or not. I know both Pickerington fields are not. North may have gotten some recently, but they won, so they can't host.

Canal is natural grass. Courthouse would be perfect, but its grass as well. Wilmington is also grass unless they use the college field there.

The state rule is it has to be turn, so it is going to be interesting to see the sites of some of these games.

I'm guessing a 3 hour drive. Sheridan would be closer to Athens, but not by a whole lot.

Sheridan is only like an hour from Athens, Shawnee is from Springfield, West of Columbus on I70 between Columbus and Dayton. What about the Newark/New Albany area? Anything around there would be close distance wise. I really don't care, I'm just glad to get to see a game in week 12 but I'd like to not get totally screwed if possible.

As weird as it sounds, Zanesville could be an option also.

Guys, SPRINGFIELD is right off of I70 west of Columbus ... no way the game will be in Sheridan or Zanesville or anywhere like that ... its going to be in the Columbus area.

THE OHSAA has been screwing southeastern Ohio for years and years ... this game will be closer to Shawnee than it will be to Athens, I can guarantee it.

I just hope its a logical place like Bexley or Reynoldsburg, and not on the west side of the county.

Yeah i was thinking zanesville too. nice new field there also. logan and louisville played there one year in a playoff game. louisville had a way bigger trip to make than logan. so anything is possible.

I travel to Springfield alot, from Athens it takes me just bout 2 hrs, they are 35-40 min from downtown Columbus, my guess be in Columbus area or west side Columbus so Athens gets railroaded. So just kick some arse!

Canal is now a turf field.

Congrats to Athens on the win. Tough way for Circleville to end the season.
