That is true, but high school games are only 48 minutes. :122245

I agree with both NewEra and Crab's brother. St Clairsville is really good. It would take a strong effort and some self destruction by St Clair for an opponent, even Ironton, to beat them. They seem to be better than last year. But everyone is beatable. Different teams match up differently and some styles of play would have a better chance against them than others.

I am sure Minford would love to have the shot at doing just that. There is no quit in this year's team. A couple turnovers and momentum swings and you never know.

First, we need to take care of Piketon. It will be a battle out there Friday night.

same here, before we even think about st. clairsville, or even an opponent for next week, first we gotta survive friday night against bloom carroll.
good luck to all the local teams involved.

Looks like the weather forecast is calling for the rain to move out later tonight. Hopefully no more precipitation this week. The best part is no threat of high winds, the wind is worse than rain. Piketon is excited, these young men have worked hard for this for a long time. Lets Go Streaks~!

Minford is practicing on Portsmouth's turf in the Coliseum right now. I guess their practice field was nothing but a mud-pit.

Rooting for them streaks. They are in for a tough one butgot to root for them a long with the other 3 playoff teams we played this season.

If the rain moves out tonight the field should be alright by Friday night. It's not turf obviously, but it does drain well for a grass field.

Should be another great matchup between these two teams. Most of the games in the past several years have been tight and I would say this one will be too. Minford will need to get some pressure on the QB and establish the run game. If they do that and don't turn the ball over they have a good shot at this one.

I see piketon winning this time. Week 3 was an awesome game and both teams looked good. Piketon made some mistakes last time.

From the sounds of things Piketon might as well not even bother showing up. :122246

I expect another hard-fought, close game. Though I can't be in Muletown for the game, I wil still be cheering from afar for the Streaks. GO STREAKS!!!

Forecast said rain possible late Saturday, so year more of the same tomorrow. I just wish high school football played on saturday afternoons this late in the year, weather like today would be pleasant to sit and watch a game! lol When the sun goes down it gets cold quick!
