Talent wise we could be as good as 8-2 having some of the staff back will help depends on how the old (saunders) meshes with the new ( mcclellan & barth.) drastic different styles and can saunders be an assistant coach keep his mouth shut? I say prob not! This season could be a train wreck we will be rebuilding both lines.
I say 6-4 not official i will post later

Thanks, KVN--do you have the days and times? I was told River Valley was in there too---is that a fact or just a rumor? Mgs. is the foundation scrimmage and I have that date.

At "THE ACADEMY" they do more with less. That is what the Great One said and his gnomes.

So let me get this straight. Correct me you Devil insiders if I am wrong. Craft and Saunders are coaching football this fall? The cousins? And they had input selecting a coach? Those 2?

I am not an insider General, but you seem to have a good understanding of how it went down.... The committee selected the coach and the new coach choose his assistants from the committee...

I think we need to move on from talking about coaching staff. It appears to me that half of the stories on here are not true. Now i know coach craft was supposed to be a coach, i was there when he was introduced. But things change. I saw this team with 7 coaches at rio camp, none of them were Saunders or craft. Saw about a half hour of a practice the other night neither one their. Tonight at 7 on 7. seven coaches on field none of them Saunders or craft. So unless they are using other coaches all summer for different coaches in the fall. i think we have a different staff then what everyone thought.

7 on 7 gallia academy, logan elm and oak hill tonight. What did anyone think. I came away with 3 or 4 impressions. First, it is great to have back all the skill guys we have. Secondly, the boys are picking up new offense very well. compare to where they were at rio 2 weeks ago. I saw no routes miss ran and only a couple of times was a kid lined up wrong or motion was wrong. not bad and i would say offense probably ran 90 plays tonight. Thirdly, we are going to be very young in the back 7 on defense, but there was only a couple of blown coverages tonight in about 90 snaps. Finally we are going to have to play a lot of kids and a lot of young kids are going to get a lot of experience. There were probably 20 skill players on the field on offense tonight and all of them had a good grasp of the offense. I will be interested to see how the line is coming along. That will be the key.
