wow, that's incredibly wrong for the kids and fans. I only caught some of the last page of this topic. what exactly is it. politics, poor turnout by the boys, what actually is the problem without being too rash.
just curious, big district--------I remember at least 1 ironton/ Vinton county matchup. and there may have been several.

So far all the votes have been via pm. I ask that you vote by posting on the forum, so all can see. Thanks.Ground Buck wrote:The front runners for the Catchy Name Contest so far are listed below in no particular order:
Smoke Pot - by Hawkeye Pierce and Binary
Just Anass - by Pol Pot
Stress Wearing - by Louie_15
Vol N. Teer - by Hawkeye Pierce
O. Penroll - by Wrestlerfan1
Dust Buster - by Wellston Ironman
Brick Walls - by Amarranavajas
How about everyone voting on those 7 and we can award a winner in the end?

At Eastern, our current coach used to be called TOOLBOY. I am surprised that name didnt get on the list.

In keeping with the theme of this hiring I would like to submit my choice after the dead line has passedGround Buck wrote:The front runners for the Catchy Name Contest so far are listed below in no particular order:

The problem is there is a deadlock in the voting for the call name of the next coach. If you want to break the deadlock and get a coach you need to cast a vote. It is a tie with several of the choices receiving 2 votes each. We need at least one more vote to put one of them over the top.

i like dustbuster.
A better choice would have been a name to inspire kids to beat the top teams in the Ohio though. I was thinking Dog Buster or NutBuster.

And that is why the program never wins consistently. No direction and commitment. The kids will be way behind in their physical development for next season!

Careful now, we don't want any stress wearing on folks. Hey, should I count that as a vote?Buckeye-4-Life wrote:And that is why the program never wins consistently. No direction and commitment. The kids will be way behind in their physical development for next season!

Yes, I have also heard the call name for said coach will be either Just Anass, or Nut Buster. Thanks to Pol Pot and Wings Teaford for those submissions and to all who voted.I am hearing that there will be announcement soon on the new football coach. I do not know who, but a decision has been made.

Re: Vinton Co. Coaching Search - 2015
It was my honor to serve the good people of Vinton. Is there an award for winning the contest? If not maybe we could get the new coach to let the winner call the first play this season. I would like to go old school and line up in the single wing.
