It was a good game. Losing Zang and Washington last week hurt. CCC could give Coldwater a good game.

Where is the guy who acted like Hartley could beat anyone in the state by 40???

Sure did. Difference in the game. Two breakaway plays resulting from missed assignments that probably would not have happened with #45 on the field. A team with the depth of Hartley can put the same athleticism on the field but it takes weeks/months to put the same level of leadership out there. And I think the loss of penetration on the edges that #12 provided all season opened up the CCC east/west game enough to catch enough corners to beat the Hawks on speed. Somebody forgot to tell their #13 that #82 was supposed to be the star. 13 was awesome. CCC coaching was superb. Their passing game was designed and perfectly executed to capitalize on Hartley's soft coverage at corners. Great game and great season. Best wishes to the two guys injured in the burg game on their surgeries.fbnut wrote:Burg beat them up pretty good

Actually he's right here. Hartley played hard and had a chance to win it in the end. Pretty impressive considering they were without two first team all Ohio players and turned the ball over two times. Hartley had nothing to hang their heads about, but you can't win in week 14 when you turn the ball over. Great season by Hartley!Sport Fan wrote:SouthernStorm wrote:Where is the guy who acted like Hartley could beat anyone in the state by 40???

And Hartley will be better next season, along with playing most likely the toughest schedule in the state. Even tougher than this year.

Re: bishop Hartley state semi.
The Hawks could be better in all depends on how well they use the voucher programs to bring in some more to notch athletes.
Re: bishop Hartley state semi.
Could you or FC Fan remind us about the racial aspect of the voucher program. You know, how it favors minorities. That's really the tub for you isn't it. You should call Mike Winters and voice your concern about educating under privileged students. You wouldn't want to call Brad Burchfield.
