Ironton v. Wheelersburg. Week 12

Re: Ironton v. Wheelersburg. Week 12
Cg cried and begged since week one for a rematch. We tried to tell him that it wouldn't be good or him. Cg was right about one thing though. Week one wasn't a true representation of the game, 38-7 running clock is more like it

It is very hard to beat any Team twice in a year.. I believe the Ironton Team has improved since week 1.... I also believe that the Pirates improved since week 5.... The Burg's defense is on Fire... One game at a time, next one is Bishop Hartley.... Time for some payback boys... This Team has something very special... Great Leadership and fighting for the guy on your right and the guy on your left...

The onside kick up 35-7 is pretty close with coaches and players going wild after it was recovered. If the game is close at all, the onside kick is the right play there. I get it. No downside. Up 35-7? Just hit the scoreboard with your kickoff.
No sour grapes. Burg is better.

The game was getting chippy. Coach wanted the clock to run because of it.fightingtigers45 wrote:BurgGrad_06 wrote:When cox hit Howard 10 yards deep in the end zone was a total lack of sportsman ship... I can see making an effort but come on...

Re: Ironton v. Wheelersburg. Week 12
The cheap shot from cox in the end zone ended a burg players season.. Pathetic.
Re: Ironton v. Wheelersburg. Week 12
Ironton has some talent but no discipline. Their high seed and so called improvement is the product of weak kentucky teams. They're not very good. Wonder if CG fan thinks of an ironton/ Hartley matchup now?
Re: Ironton v. Wheelersburg. Week 12
irontons big guys just arent able play 4 quarters of football against good teams. they were spent very early in 3rd quarter in both burg games.

Hate hearing that, no place in the game for cheap shots.Jolly P(irate) wrote:That's just pitiful. He was taking cheap shots all night. Just a punk IMO.BurgGrad_06 wrote:The cheap shot from cox in the end zone ended a burg players season.. Pathetic.
