Warren at Chesapeake
The Warriors travel way down the river this friday. Hopefull they can patch the ship and come home with a win. Lost for the season is senior Eric Hackathorn, Knee. Senior Brandon Pahl is questionable as well. Hope the "O" line is shored up for friday, same old, same old last friday and absolutely no blocking on punts. Sooooo hope for the best for the kids this week. Warren 21 Chesapeake 14. Sound reasonable??????
Re: Warren at Chesapeake
Chesapeake lost to Gallia Acad 0-30
Gallia Acad lost to Maritta 14-21?
Marietta lost to Warren 8-19?
Chesapeake is young, but coming off two big 4th Quarter Come From Behind wins. They aren't the same team that played at Gallia in week 2, and this game will be played at Chesapeake.
That long bus ride for the Warriors may play a factor, but the good news for Warren Fans who make the trip is that Chesapeake has plenty of good restaurants nearby!
I digress...
Back to the game: I agree that Warren SHOULD win this game, but also I think it is possible that Chesapeake COULD win this game.

Warren has kids with ability. If they can gather themselves up and unify for the good of the order. A successful season can still be had. Keep pluggin along and work to improve each and every week.
Re: Warren at Chesapeake
What kind of offense does Warren run these days?... Wing T, Spread, I, Pistol, etc?

Re: Warren at Chesapeake
rooting for an OVC win. Peake shouldn't even be playing them on paper. Warren has like double the enrollment.
Re: Warren at Chesapeake
LOL, everyone on here says enrollment does not mean a thing?
I think Warren over an improving Peake
Warren 28
Peake 14

Peake 176 boysunclebob wrote:rooting for an OVC win. Peake shouldn't even be playing them on paper. Warren has like double the enrollment.
Warren 279 boys
Hardly double. Almost in same division and if enrollments continue to drop at warren they might be next time.
From what I can tell both are not having a very good year so whoever can eliminate some mistakes has a better chance.

Re: Warren at Chesapeake
Peake also routed Warren handily the last two times they played. Back then, Warren was a Div III school and Chesapeake was a Div V.unclebob wrote:rooting for an OVC win. Peake shouldn't even be playing them on paper. Warren has like double the enrollment.
Warren is now a Div IV, and Chesapeake is a Div V.
9/24/04 at Chesapeake, 45-6
9/24/05 at Warren, 40-15

2 more boys and Warren would be Division III. If Chesapeake lost 21 they would be Div VI. There would have to be a significant loss of boys for Warren to drop to Div V.

That's hogwash, and 100 is not that much! Warren has been very down, and is trying to right the ship.osumufan wrote:With103 more boys than Peake Warren should have won!
