I have to agree wellston did not help there selves in this game.... Penalties killed them
They played pretty sloppy and made a lot of mistakes ... But I think the talent is there to be successful .clean that stuff up and they will be fine.

I can hear the fat lady singing in rocket nation. No reason for the sloppy play this far into the season. I can only see maybe one more chance for a win and that's a coin toss in week 10.

I'll second that old*rocket . . . she's warming up the vocal cords. Might be down to who has enough healthy players left for week 10. I think Wellston and VC are both disappointing this year. Saw the Wellston/Jackson game and thought the Rockets really fought their tails off and might win 5 or 6 games. They might be lucky to win 4.

Only thing wrong with Wellston is it seems there worried about keeping players/parents happy with numbers!!!
Wellston needs to play as a team and they can be successful........ Wellston has strong running backs why not use them more?
Look at the Line size the Rockets have.

they are 2-2! Still a lot of football to be played! They were 2-1 and get beat by a good football team and people like yourself make idiotic remarks after a loss. How about come out to the field Friday and show some support

Went to the game maybe 3 or 4 questionable calls out of over 100 plays. Not all in favor of Wellston. Alexander made more plays including a big FG at the end. However, the night was about a lost soldier and for that Wellston deserves an A++. It really put sports in prospective.
