It would have been the first year they played, but I don't remember off the top of my head.
We will get the series history within the next couple days though.

One of Berne's biggest problems is the fact keep changing their offense over the years and they never teach it in the lower levels. Steve Daulton is a darn good coach at a very tough job.

They also have a bad defense that can't shoot the gaps and give the QB not much time to throw. Not a very big team by any means.

2008 the first year we played. We had beat Trimble big and Piketon went into this game thinking we were unstoppable. It was 28-0 at halftime Berne Union winning. Final score was 28-14.

I went to the first game between these two. Union had a good tteam that year .Even in 2009 they were good but have follow off greatly after that.

With us having a very young team this one is a bit scary, I just hope we don't take Berne Union or anyone for that matter lightly this season we cannot afford to, In saying that I think we should win going away hopefully this one turn into a boatracing and we can gain some confidence take some posititve things from this game and get some more playing time for some kids down on the depth chart GO BUCKEYES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everyone from Bostonville keeps saying young team! The only kids ever mentioned when talking about a young team are Mount, Andrews, and Edwards! Lets hear about the rest of this young team. The last time I checked you line 11 kids up on both sides of the ball, not 3. I understand those 3 are a big part of the TEAM but they are not the entire team.
