Fairland needs to find a coach that is there for more than one year.

Couldn't go to the game--How did GAHS put up 55 points without a passing game?

as funny as it may sound. blue devils sort of opened up the offensive playbook more is how they had success. Also Kole carter played his best game at quarterback He actually looked liked a quarterback Friday night. it still didn't help the passing game much. but the fact we took 5 or so shots down field at lest kept fairland honest connected on one long pass for a touchdown. also added some pitch plays and motion that we had not used much the first 2 games. counter play worked great. Finally blake wilson probably played his best offensive game as a blue devil. got hard yards when he needed them and several big runs besides that. wes jarrell returnel returned punt for a touchdown. fairland also on side kicked several times giving the devils a short field.

blue devils still to many penalties. even though this game was poorly officiated.

Homolka had a huge opportunity with the job at NC State (Dir. of Player Personnel.)
He's also the only coach since 1955 to only coach 1 season. All other head coaches have been there at least 4 years.
Not to mention, most of the assistant coaches have been there 2-3 years.

I think we are leaving out the good game that Eli Miller played. I was very impressed with his hard running style as well as some of his open field moves. I know he plays with attitude, and I for one, think that is one thing that The Blue Devils should play with a little more of.

Didn't mean to leave Eli out. But i think Eli played that well the week before also and i was trying to answer what was different then previous weeks. Eli always plays hard and gives 100%. sometimes gives a little to much and does not play in control but i could say that about a handful of players on this team. Just hope Eli can stay healthy all season this year. He is important part of everything the blue devils do in all 3 facets of the game.
