Athens offensively is a juggernaut for this area, an unprecedented team that not only has the talent, but has the ability to execute and use its talent like no one around here as witnessed.
Bulldog fans are watching the making of something that has never been seen before in SE Ohio.
Good game.

Really??????????? The Trimble tomcats were 2013 state runner up. The ny buckeyes won a state championship in 1981. Athens has a nice team but lets wait til the season is over befo're we crown them state champs.

I think he meant just the insane scoring and explosiveness of the offense, Gecko.
Because he did use the term southeastern Ohio. There have been others who have won state titles and played in state championship games besides Trimble and NY.

Correct I meant offensive firepower.
Trimble 2013, NY, and Ironton, Portsmouth West, Wheelersburg in years past have all had state level success we have witnessed. Referring to ability to score at will.

I think Trimble puts up some good numbers. 57-0 this week. has anyone got scores for Trimble over the last two years? There's big some big blow outs. Athens is very explosive.

Zanesville 35

Good news is that the Chiefs conveniently missed out on facing Mr Burrow lmao

Athens left Logan's schedule, not the other way around.Orange and Brown wrote:Did that Crow taste good?moonshine wrote:Question, Can the bullpuppies deal with the speed of them there devil's?

But this is probably one of Athens most impressive wins the last three seasons - along with wins over Tri-Valley and Shawnee.
Zanesville is definitely rebuilding, but to go to their house and put up 66 in a shortened game is beyond impressive. The question is: will Athens punt before they get to Steubenville?

I wasn't a fan of Zanesville's ticket taking. i'd say over 1,000 people missed the first quarter

Can we please all agree no matter who left where for whatever reason and why they did or didn't do so that it no longer matters, good lord man. If Athens was still in the SEOAL then they would have run the table in the SEOAL the last couple years it just is what it is.moonshine wrote:Orange and Brown wrote:Did that Crow taste good?moonshine wrote:Question, Can the bullpuppies deal with the speed of them there devil's?

Have they gotten better because as someone mentioned above because they left and went to the TVC...I highly doubt that that has much to do with it, but is may account for something I don't know (call it 2%). Did they get better because they committed to hire a good staff and concentrate on what makes a team get better with fundamentals and work ethic and making it a program that kids want to play for, yep probably so (call it 48%). Did they reach that goal because there was a confluence of kids by the name of Burrow and Williams and Luerham (spelling?), absolutely call it (50%).
So now when 2014 comes to an end for the Bulldogs whenever or wherever that might be, they still will be 50% toward their goal for next year without these dynamic players. 1/2 way toward your goal is a lot better than some programs for the area. Will have to wait and see what happens in 2015. I am sure some of those posters in Hocking County look forward to a certain game in 2015 (just be glad that you didn't get that game this year...give you AD a hug lol).
