Portsmouth West Football 2014
Re: Portsmouth West Football 2014
I haven't lived on the Westside since 1983. Now I know you're gonna run out of fingers, toes and teeth to count before you figure out the answer so I'll do the math for ya.....that's 31 years ago. I observe Scioto County from afar! 8)

I too observe Scioto Co from a far, much like Jane Goodall, these primates however are not endangered, many procreate at an alarming rate. The Oaf wrote:I haven't lived on the Westside since 1983. Its easy. You post the jobs then interview the people who apply. Then you hire from there.game day wrote:I still don't understand how this new coach is going to put a staff together.Sider_PC wrote:Blue Devil , to answer your question.....None of the ones who were on the staff were interviewed.
When Sammons was hired he didn't put his staff together until June. Which will be the same time Johnson will be doing it.

I talk to a lot of people who are dead set against that new Spartan logo. I think they need to leave it alone and them membership rates to join the football club is plain outrageous in this day.

Is that logo for all athletic teams or just football?dreamweaver wrote:I talk to a lot of people who are dead set against that new Spartan logo. I think they need to leave it alone and them membership rates to join the football club is plain outrageous in this day.

I do believe the logo change would effect all sports and programs.

Guess it depends who you are. They gave lifetime memberships to a couple guys.

Agreed, that's nothing at all. Complete non-factor.Captain Awesome wrote:Annual membership is $50 or lifetime membership is $150 single or $200 for a married couple....Doesn’t seem to horrible

I hear they are going to paint every structure in Washington and Nile Townships green and white, and change the name to South Lansing. The Oaf wrote:Is that logo for all athletic teams or just football?dreamweaver wrote:I talk to a lot of people who are dead set against that new Spartan logo. Lets not stir the pot and get this thread removed.
There has been uproar, I have voiced my opinion as well. But, the fact of the matter is that weight lifting is going well, we have a lot of kids in there and working hard. This will probably be the biggest numbers we have ever had, that fact alone will help to an extent.
Has anyone heard about interviews for assistants? It'll be hard to get people from the outside, but there are teachers in the building that have coached, maybe they will give it another shot?
