Re: FAIRLAND FOOTBALL
I know when the last coach was hired, one other guy that applied ended up as the OC at Maria Stein and they won the state final over Trimble. He seemed to be happy he was passed over by Fairland. They should call him.
Re: FAIRLAND FOOTBALL
So, if a coach who isn't a teacher is hired, does he/she have to join the union?

Re: FAIRLAND FOOTBALL
No but some union contracts say a teacher must be hired or the board must say no qualified coach is on staff.

Board will vote to except HC resignation at January board meeting, then they will have to post position.
Re: FAIRLAND FOOTBALL
Everybody might as well get a cold drink some snacks and sit back and relax we have until February 14,14 until the deadline to apply.
Re: FAIRLAND FOOTBALL
Well it has been 8 days since the last post. I am sure people have heard rumors on who is applying for the job. So does anybody have any news or predictions on who they think is applying. Count down to 14 days.

Re: FAIRLAND FOOTBALL
I'm not so sure his past records will make them a great HC but I don't think the BOE will really spend the time to Go outside the school to get a quality HC. It would be their easiest choice.

I think many people learn from their past mistakes and make sure they don't happen again.
Re: FAIRLAND FOOTBALL
Might as well welcome the ol boy back now. Not going to be a good year for Fairland if they choose him.

I saw that three Dragons signed to play at Pikeville. But, what is back for the coming season?
Re: FAIRLAND FOOTBALL
We are down to the last five days. The job comes down on February 14th would make a nice Valentine Day gift for someone. I was told that a former Wheelersburg grad has applied who has a decent resume.
